Such a great game.
Music, setting, Ezio's voice is Max comfy.
Replaying it now, though, the mission repetitiveness is way more obvious. Maybe I'm just more cynical but it didn't feel like the breath of fresh air it was when it first came out.
"I'LL KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE" is still such a great scene though, sequence one is such kino
>comfy jesper kyd soundtrack
it's one of the only vidya soundtrack i listen to
Kyd's music made the franchise
Why don't games put any effort in the soundtracks anymore?
Even Call of Duty went to hire Hans Zimmer.
Before the series got fucking milked to death. I just didn't care anymore after Brotherhood. youtube.com
ACRevelations has the best ending in the series and one of the best endings ever made and you cannot prove otherwise.
>that fucking spanish dub for ezio
dear god i loved this trilogy
they never topped that
AC1 is actually the superior game:
>morally grey plot instead of generic Good vs. Evil
>still had pretensions of being about stealth
>no fluff weapons, as each had a distinct function
>assassination was actually a major part of the game
>counters actually required timing
AC1 is not a perfect game by any means, but it’s the closest we’ve come to a decent open world stealth game.

>Theme so good you make it the leitmotif of the entire series
>morally grey
Pretty sure stripping people of free will and agency is wrong tho
The point is that the Assassins under Al-Mualim were also forcing the people into their own utopian idea of the world. Altair reformed the group into a more moderate and egalitarian group, at least until Ezio turned them back into glorified terrorists.
People never had free will to begin with.
Altair had the most generic voice actor but i love it so much, he sounds absolutely disgusted all the time. I prefer it over Ezios mario accent
AC1 was way too repetitive.
this is history
>Ezio's Family is THE kino track from AC2
>so good that it became the de facto theme of the series
I like Old Ezio but Revelations was a joke on every level
Playing this game for the first time is probably one of the best video game experiences I've ever had and it makes me sick how much this series has fallen from grace
>Play Ezio's trilogy
>Enjoy
>Visit an Italian monastery
>They have some event with a performance and stuff
>They talk in Italian followed by the local language
>Can get the gist of what they're saying in Italian
How did they do that? The games didn't even feature much Italian.
It was, but it laid out the blueprint of what could have been an excellent open world stealth series. It could have been a good Hitman competitor and replacement for Tenchu if it built upon the stealth and assassination aspects rather than just making it historical GTA. I love AC1 for that solid template more than anything.
i'm sorry Leo
Begone
Could the new Hitman formula work for AC?
>they didn't restart the mission
fuck you
>Ezio married a librarian over this
only god knows how many STDs she was carrying by that point
Since darn near every female assassin had a background in prostitution and murder, he made the right choice.
Hitman 2 used Assassin Creed 2's hide in crowd mechanic, so it's possible.
