These all look genuinely unappealing. To much realism and shit the point of Fantasy is to BE fantasy. Wheres my Dragon quest and cell shaded chibi deformned RPGs? Wheres my hand drawn effort put into RPGs? Enough with the fucking unreal looking realism. its making me sick!
What we're about to witness is not a new Golden Age of jrpgs... but the first Platinum Age of jrpgs (pun not intended)
>Which one are you looking forward the most?
None of the trash you posted, that's certain.
FFVIIR and Re:Link are lost in development hell. GBVersus will probably get a release before both of them.
Versus already got a release after being renamed due to the failure that was Fabula Nova Crystallis.
Agni and "Lunar Tear" (the image, at least) are literal tech demos. It's like getting hyped for game based on 3DMark.
Babylon and Awakening are supposed to be released this year and we still don't know shit about them.
Prelude Rune was announced two or so years ago and all we got so far was a horrible trailer with janky animations.
Xenoblade still don't have an official release yet. It's all dreams and hopes so far.
Re:Fantasy is just a collection of artworks and a LARPer trailer, but at least Atlus like to remind us it exists every 8 or so months.
The last two games are just ridiculously niche titles from a ridiculously niche developer and will have no impact on the industry at all.
>golden age with modern square
I really wish you zoomers could have experienced the actual golden age. It honestly must be awful having to grow up with such generic shitty games while only hearing stories about when video games were good
>I really wish you zoomers could have experienced the actual golden age.
The golden age is a meme perpetrated by nostalgiafag 80's kids like me who played trash like FF, Xenogears or Grandia when they were little and have rose tinted glasses perpetually soldered on them, which also do not allow them to see how ridiculously limited their knowledge of the industry is.
There is no such thing as a golden age, Square was just as trash back then as it is now, there was an immense amount of shitty games, overhyped games and shovelware just like there is now.
>zoomer larping as a boomer
>first row alone has one vaporware, one game that was rebranded and already came out, and two tech demos
I can't even tell if this is bait or if someone out there is legitimately this fucking delusional.
>No new announced Tales of
>No DQ 11:S
>No I am Setsuna Successor
>No P5R
>No Astral chain
Of all things you could pick, you chose shit nobody knows, cares about, or is in dev hell.
Zoomers desperately want to live through some golden age.
Don't forget Rune Factory 5
