I love the exciting feelings it brings.

I love when I am dodging through swarms of bullets, I see a tiny gap and I immediately rush through it, I think I am dead but I made it just barely.

I love the slow build up, the early stages feel like filler but once you get to the later stages the weight really gets to you.

It feels fair when you die, you can tell it is your own fault. On the other hand you may be blessed by dumb luck that saves you from some deaths.

The small pleasures like the extra life sound and death bombing.

The balanced variety between wide, homing, laser, etc.

Do people actually prefer EoSD's gameplay to the other titles, or is it just because it features all the meme characters and music?

The game has a good and unique feeling and art it's hard to explain.

I've 1cc'd every game except LoLK on lunatic and have read every piece of literature from CoLA to AFiEU. I just found it puzzling as to why people cited EoSD as being the best of the franchise, despite it's obnoxious rank system, uninteresting patterns, heavy RNG and lack of a visible hitbox. I guess its shot types are pretty balanced, but other than that PCB and IN do everything EoSD does but better.

You could try remapping the movement keys to WASD. I started with a stick myself, so using my right hand to control movement felt just wrong. After remapping, I got used to keyboard in no time.

However, it has been several months since Doremy got any communication from Sagume, which is why she allows the heroines to pass to the real Lunar Capital, which is frozen and currently being attacked by Junko.
