I've done this but with food instead of games
I work at a game retailer who throws out surplus stock. We have to physically break discs, controllers and consoles to prevent dumpster divers.
sounds jewish as fuck
that sucks. its so wasteful but they dont want to be sued if someone kills themself in the dumpster.
They should have redistribution centers or donate them to charity
>thousands of dollars worth of games
you should try watching the video
>thousands of dollars worth of games
>empty boxes
fuck off
no one cares about your shitty channel
This is why I refuse to buy from game retailers. Especially if it was an obscure, rare game that will probably never get put on a digital distribution platform.
americans...
i meant over all, he has like 1000 videos
Sucks but manager policy. Most of the stuff is so old and only worth a few bucks. However we did shift a lot of new, sealed EyeToy games on behalf PS2 to a wholesaler recently. These usually then get sold on more popular sites abroad.
whooaaa so by spending thousands of hours doing something, he acquired like, thousands of dollars worth of money from it?
isn't this illegal?
not explicitly in most jurisdictions, no.
however, it's stupid, as dumpsters are full of shit like flesh eating bacteria and hepatitis needles.
fuck man, how bad was your situation
You should take it and sell it. But yeah if I owned a place I wouldnt want a bunch of niggers and faggots roaming around my store in the midddle of the night.
You should check bargain bins an non-game electronics store out in the boons, can find some neat shit that technically shouldn't be sold by informed retailers anymore but can be interesting for hobbyists as a novelty, like Darkspore.. Mostly just crap though, but it is always fun to check because non-specialized retailers tend to hold their old stock for a LOOOOONG time.
Dumpsters though? Did that for bottles for recycling money when i was a poorfag kid without a allowance and needed to get money somehow, never again, and i'd never fucking tell anyone i did it IRL.
Not him, but it's not really bad. I'm just really cheap. Dumpster diving saves you a crazy amount of money.
I buy second hand ps3 games every now and then.
mostly japanese games I don't really care about but shit what's 8 bucks
We drove gamestop out of business on my country. Almost no one bought there because they were more expensive than any other shop with no benefit.
I remember finding two whole cases of Takis in the dumpster behind Family Dollar while I was taking some of their old cardboard boxes. I was eating those for a year.
They throw boxes of chips out every week or so when they're close to the Best By date. Wash the bags off and they're good for months. Seasonal candy shows up sometimes too. I'm not actively looking for dumpster gold, but when in Rome...
>NHL 14
>Tiger Woods PGA
>presumably NBA
wow. it's fucking nothing
