I think the current "common view" of it is that since the launch was so horrendous that the game is still just a lootboxy P2W piece of trash made by EA, even though they've gotten rid of lootboxes entirely besides skin crates every time they add new skins, which you can't even pay for.
At least, that's what it was last time I checked.
