It's a shame this game was on the Vita and wasn't promoted at all by Sony. Didn't help that it came out at a time where Monster Hunter clones were appearing everywhere despite not playing like Monster Hunter at all.
The story presentation was fucking amazing.

He's not wrong about the first bit though. I doubt many of us actually played this game. Definitely different enough from Monster Hunter to be worth playing and the story ended up being really great in my opinion.

Extremely doubtful. Soul Sacrifice is kind of in a weird place; Inafune and a few of the Japan Studio guys actually lobbied for a PS4 port but were shot down on the basis that "hunting games don't sell on consoles" thanks to the poor commercial performance of Ragnarok Odyssey on the PS3 and Toukiden Kiwami on the PS4. Thing is, even though Monster Hunter World has come out and completely disproved that, the IP is back on the PlayStation, so there's no reason for Sony to bother reviving Soul Sacrifice or Freedom Wars since they were devised specifically because Capcom jumped ship to Nintendo with MonHun.

Oh and what offerings did you use? Mainly used Spears, Blitz and throws, with feather and a heal.
I bought delta so i don't know how bad it was in vanilla but yeah it's kinda bad that the last boss forces you to use melee weapons.
Oh yeah online pass ... i think i would prefer that to what they have now though with PS+ on the ps4...

last year uppers was announced for a localization/port to the ps4 and there was dead silence for a long time but they finally announced the release date which is only 2 weeks away your game may get a port still

Was great to do so. Especially when you cover someone and ram a shield into a monster and stagger them or block the projectiles while your teammate can get ready, or distracting the monster while someone sets up a bunch of bombs and lure them over into it.
