Is Palutena even that tall or do people just think she's tall because everyone else in Smash is short?

Samus is canonically 6'3'' with her suit on so there's at least one character who would have to be taller than Palutena and I'm not sure if she is.

For reference, Shulk is 5'6 and Pit is 5'3. So they accurately scale up to Palutan. But factors in as well. Some characters are scaled for the game.

Palutena and Metallia are the best ones IMO and they're basically polar opposite ends of the dynamic. One's a loving, motherly kind of dominance and the other is outright sadistic, physically violent dominance.

Palu is actually fairly short in Smash, and only looks tall because of heels. She's roughly the same height as Pit without them.
Tallest women in the game are Rosalina and Wii Fit Trainer.

Palutena literally can't just spam projectiles like Link and the Belmonts can, hers are far more punishable. Hers are zoning tools almost exclusively where if you're getting hit, it's because she's getting her spacing right and you're playing too predictably. Learn spacing and learn to jump and you won't have a problem. If you dodge either of her projectiles you're pretty much save to go in on her in close range where both her projectiles are completely useless.

At least she's not Belmont or Link where half the time you get knocked out of a fucking grab because their boomerang comes back and hits you.

I'm still playing through that. She's similarly sadistic which is great, and tan loli sadistic witch is very good in general, but if it's like the first, I need to finish the game before talking about her too much since if it's anything like the first most of the really crazy shit happens near the end.

Though it might be more enjoyable for her to take the height from you. Having 1cm over you is a good start but she decides to take another and add it to herself, and another, and another. Then before you know it 1cm is all you've got left and she's over 3m tall, a towering amazon to anyone else but for you down in her shadow she's a skyscraped-sized giantess.

Was there a scene in game where she becomes giant or at least projects herself that size like Medusa/Viridi etc do? I forget. If there is, anyone got a clip/screenshot.

Also, kinda funny, I posted earlier and Metallia is kind of relevant. She's very short usually (4'9), but there's a scene where she attacks a tower by turning herself giant. There's even a boss fight where she's throwing attacks all over the tower while you try and fight an enemy for her. Her giant form doesn't have any clothes, so her boobs (including nipples) are fully visible in game the whole time
