How was the first game? Admittedly, the bomberman I fell in love with was Bomberman 64, despite it not being the classic 2D formula. I nearly got SB-R but held out.

Hey I don't know if you are still here but Super Bomberman R is amazing and in my opinion, easily the best in the entire series. I bought it at full price on the Switch and don't regret it in the slightest. I even had the game for a whole year before I finally got a Switch. It is dwfinitely classic Bomberman at its' finest, but I wouldn't reccomend it if you are expecting a 64-type game. It is FREE on Xbox Live at the moment, if you happen to have one. It is a must play in my opinion.

I actually have fond memories of kicking my friends' asses at 9ne of the 64 games, and I was extremely hyped for Bomberman 3DS, that still hurts pretty bad honestly. The good news is that hope is not all lost, R sold fantastically well for a Bomberman game and it is almost certain that we have not seen the last of his 3d antics.
