What were they thinking?
What were they thinking?
Too high IQ for you, OP?
git gud
it's not that it's particularly hard, but if you're not following a guide it takes like 5 tries just to figure it out
and every time you have to beat the most annoying level in the game to get to it
it's just a fucking horribly designed boss, should have been saved for a basic stage like wily1 or something
I do runs of this game all the time and agree with OP. Not liking it doesn't mean that it's hard, you dumbfucks. It is terrible boss design.
There is nothing wrong with trial & error and anybody complaining about it is a filthy casual
Yeah there's nothing wrong with trial and error so long as the error doesn't result in a half hour before the next trial.
>a half hour
then get gud and be faster
+ mastering a level with each reset is a good feeling for anybody with an intact brain
>get gud and be faster
>in the stage that is all about climbing ladders and waiting for platforms
>mastering a stage that is universally hated for being a shit slogfest even by people who've mastered it
ok kid, seems like you're the one without an intact brain
Terrible design or not I was able to beast through this as an 8 year ols so maybe you should try having a higher IQ, fucking retard.
yeah I bet you have very clear memories of how easy this exact stage was, given that you're 11 now
and please refer to you insecure retard
U sound mad because a child had higher cognitive ability than you. I’m sorry for you.
Just understand that the people that defend this badly designed and unfun “boss” are most likely the same people that Insist X6 is actually a good game and not a jank mishandling of an established formula that probably got a whole 2 hours worth of play testing down before getting shipped out.
Maybe modern games that hold babbys hand are more your speed? Mega man was always hard, no shame in admitting that it’s just to difficult for you.
They weren't, it was badly designed plain and simple. Megaman 2 has no shortage of actually decent fights so why excuse this god awful one?
Case in point.
>one of the final stages of the game takes practice(!) to beat
>the barriers even stay destroyed between lives
seriously what's the damn problem
>Shoot walls with Crash Bomb
>???
>Profit
LOL, I was just playing this level today on the Legacy collection and was thinking the same. I'm missing 2 bars from my crash bombs going into the battle and it's still not enough.
i never played mega man what is this about. i googled the pic and i guess you have to kill the blocks in a certain order?
It's a dumb boss where you have to intentionally die multiple times to figure out how to beat it if you don't have a guide.
>half hour
Cmon
Nope. Only thing you have to know is not to waste your bombs. Winging it through skill is always fun. Its not like you have to memorize it or anything.
you only have enough ammo with crash bomb to do the fight perfectly. if you miss once, or destroy one of the wrong walls, you not only lose, but you're forced to either game over yourself or grind enemies for weapon energy like an autist.
>played Mega Man 2 again after over 20 years
>beats that boss with one try
*sip* ahhhh, too easy.
The problem is that if you fuck up you're either forced to start the worst level of the game all over again if you were on your last life OR are forced to grind enemies to replenish your crash bombs.
That you wouldn't be such a casual faggot, you sure proved them wrong.
