In reality they would be killed immediately as they only have no skill or sense. Seriously, look at the last paragraph of this post from a /k/ sword thread and try not to cringe. What if I just like simpler stuff? I don't have anything against more intricate stuff, golden mountain-sized pauldrons and fancy rainbow magic, but what I enjoy playing the most in vidya or ttrpgs will always be a simple sword&board dude in basic-looking armor.
