I tried that with KSP, ended up crashing Kerbals into the space center at incredibly high speeds.

It emulates very well, even on shitty PCs.

Prototype or inFamous are both great for that. Lots of random murder and fun movement systems.
Just Cause 3 is also good because you can destroy shit until you just feel like flying around with the wingsuit which is pretty calming

Beat Saber is great for swinging around and beating the everloving fuck out of blocks to a beat, you even get more points the harder you swing, it's especially great with the more intense custom songs like Believer
