Vegito was Top Tier pre-S2 and High Tier currently, Jiren has great synergy with a lot of the cast and has some of the best counter-play/neutral in the game, Broly started out bad but has slowly improved and he's the biggest beneficiary of the S2 changes. Broly now has great oki setups using the Dragon Rush Sliding Knockdowns, is the only character that doesn't care about the new Guard Cancel, and his combos after his alt. Level 3 aren't extra-scaled like most Double Supers are now.

He's definitely an armor tank, but his projectiles are the best in the game. His playstyle is "my moves eat your moves".

I seriously hope that Yamcha isn't next in being vilified by the community. Been an awoo main since day 1. Though I'm surprised how people aren't making an outcry about Yamcha's whole wolf fang fist side switch gimmick, as admittedly cheap (but fun) that move is.

Broly/Vegito/Jiren is actually the team I play. It's super solid and the team has pretty strong synergy between all of it's members. Broly lariat gives the other two their corner combos off quick tag and Jiren gives Broly midscreen level 3 combo. Jiren has the most damaging level one and you can combo a Dragon Rush off it if you DHC after certain heights. Vegito did get hurt a bit from the patch so double lvl1 is kinda useless now but he has the highest meter gain in the game which is great for giving Broly access to some of his stronger tools like Ex command grab and slow lvl 3.

The double super change was fucking stupid

He got fucked super hard by the patch. He wasn't great before but was at least useable because of his assist was good and Golden Freiza comebacks. But now when you activate Golden Freiza you basically build no meter when you hit them whereas before you would build enough meter to kill them with level 3, since level 3 in Golden Freiza is the highest damaging super in the game. Now you just spend 3 bars to not kill unless you already came in with full meter.

You can just jab out of his side switch, it'll usually hit them the 1st time but if they're good they'll easily adapt

Vegito is indeed a massive disappointment. It's like they tried their best to make him as boring as possible Every combo, every super, every special everything is fucking boring. And on top of that he's low tier as fuck.

That change is more than a few weeks old, but they changed it so you build less bar with attacks that use bar. Everything in GF techincally used a bar to happen, so the whole change was basically a Freeza nerf.

I hate that they used his Super design. I would've much rather have shirtless, green trousers-wearing Tien or his buu saga design.
