The aesthetic is great from the music to the visuals and some of the characters are charming, but unless you're willing to put up with lesbian misadventures in a cyberpunk dystopia it'll probably lose you by the end, and even if it doesn't the drink mixing is a paper thin attempt at dialogue change and the writing's only so so at best while interspersed with memes and references that date it. Despite those criticisms though I do like it, but I like it in spite of its obvious faults.

Exactly what I did when I played. My room was decorated and lit only with Christmas lights and it snowed a lot at that time. I also drank while playing, and played only at night as well. No gaming experience has came close to how comfy I felt then. I almost am nostalgic for it.

VA-11 is a gay game and Thats my preference

I like rainy dark city noir cyberpunk and I played VN games before too

But I don't like this game. This is too much about family and love issue, and I was like "that's it?" when I learnt about Jill or Alma 's problem. Mass Effect 2 made me very dread about story like "family drama but in space" and this one is " but in cyberpunk". It is probably exactly what was advertised but not my cup of tea.

Visual and music is nice though

The new character is the mother to an eight-year-old child so unless there's some sci-fi futa stuff going on, she's either het or bi.

The aesthetic is fucking great 10/10 good shit, but the devs comittiment to delivering a low-level "normal" story fell flat to me since almost everyone who entered the bar had a more interesting story to tell than Jill's, I kept thinking "Man, why couldn't I be following these guys instead?" and when the time for Jill's drama finally arrives it just didn't hit nearly as hard as half the shit I already saw by that point and when the game ends it just doesn't feel like it ended, I felt the climax coming and then it came and I could think of as the credits roleld was a "wait, that's it?". Overall, pretty big sins for such a story-based "game" to do, but I dunno, maybe you will relate better to the MC's struggles and get more out of it than I did. Also the soundtrack is one hell of a good trip so yeah, what this guy said.
