The fun with friends category so looter shooters though it does quickly devolve into grinding.
I suppose PvE horde mode could fit.
Or things like the Last Stand. But that is all better when playing with people you already know since randos is like russian roulette.

I don't have a social life and have to get my fix of social interactions somewhere else, like in video games.

Shame Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is low population on PC. I'd recommend that.

HotS is fucking trash. If you really want a casual moba to play phone mobas are way better options.

vermintide 2 is a 4 player hack n slash that plays like a fantasy left4dead. It can have it's rage moments while you learn the combat but you eventually turn into a whirring demigod of faith and steel carving a bloody path through large hordes of enemies.

400+ hours and still playing
