Last E3 someone asked Todd if they would ever consider remastering something like Morrowind and he responded that they were more interested at that moment in getting their older games to work on newer platforms through backwards comparability. Of course, Todd isn't a Bethesda higherup, so if Bethesda wanted to print some easy money through a remaster of 3/NV after 76's disaster then he wouldn't have much say in it either way.

Personally I'm not sure it's a remaster of anything simply because I've never seen a company sell special/deluxe versions of a remastered game before. It's probably something unannounced from Arkane Studios, or maybe they beefed up ES Blades into a bigger own game. Who knows.

Single player variant of Fallout 76 with completely new quests, a main quest focusing on Vault 76 sending a lone explorer into the wasteland to scout out a place to settle out of several outcomes, along with NPCs and new factions. Essentially 76 without the multiplayer coding that was originally design through the Creation Engine.

Why not, they have to announ ce work on something so everyone's not focused 100% on "What's Wrong with 76 now?" Yes, it's very early, but if it's something new, chances are it's incredibly rushed and should just hold it off till E3.

They've gone about as far as they can with that. Every 360/xbox huge is backwards compatible on xbone, PS4 has no native backwards compatibility for PS3 so they have no option but a whole rerelease, and if they have to do that they might as well try to slap one some prettier effects.

Without mentioning they'd be a stupid amount of time re-working the stats, perk, SPECIAL, karma, damage formula, weapons, and the ammo system. Unless they want to double down on their audience's stupidity by releasing Fallout 4 again but with a New Vegas coat of paint, and the people who were all vocal about Fallout 76 and never buying a Bethesda game would be first ones to pre-order.

The placeholder video doesn't match the late-80's/early-90's sci-fi vibe Starfield is going for. They also haven't sent any DMCA's to any of the FO4 total conversions underway (FO4NV and Capital Wasteland especially don't bring up the voice acting situation, they've resumed development with the goal to replace all the voices), which would be a threat to a hypothetical FO3/NV SE because they don't use bethnet and are free to use.
