Played*

I remember seeing trailers of this game in a game of SpongeBob
But no, I didn't

I don't think many people have. Its a hidden gem, it feels weird that nobody remembers this game because to me it was one of those games that defined a period of my life

Still have my copy. Never played more than an hour of it.

I did, was fun. Fucking wild, haven’t thought of this game in maybe 10 years

Hey yeah I played this pretty solid

All three console games were pretty good, actually. I haven't played the GBA games, though.

The cartoon ruined the series and I don't count the games based on the show.

The DS game had bretty good graphics.

tak and the power of poopoo

tak got feet

I remember being really excited getting this when I was a kid. I don't think I ever beat it but it was a really soulful game desu.

Interesting how Nick wanted their own videogame mascot but then just fated into obscurity.

I remember really liking the sequel

I’M A REAL WILD BOY WILD BOY

I wasn’t aware there was three. I only have one and two.

I have fond memories of the Tak and the Power of the JuJu. I dont think i ever finished it..

Played the second one but not sure if I ever finished it.

Fug this was good shit and my little brothers favorite game

It was a very fun game. It just looked weird, which was off-putting to people.

close
I played great juju challenge with my brother
it was a fucking blast

Fuck, this just unlocked a deep part of my conciousness. I haven't thought about this game in so long, i guess it was kinda forgettable in that way.

I remember having a lot of fun with it though, some real challenging parts.

In 3rd grade one of my classmates begged me to come over and watch him play.

holy shit yes i have i have not seen this game in a long while

I never played that. Anybody play this? I played this. Always loved the first part of the game before the mountain.

Good god.

I haven’t seen that face in years, and I’m just now realizing how shit it is.

This game was long as fuck. Never beat it.

I never finished it. Had some game breaking glitch where the skeleton you escort was invisible and couldn’t finish escorting him.

THIS SHIT IS STILL STUCK IN MY HEAD TO THIS DAY...MAKE IT STOP AAAAAHHHHHHHH++

Staff of Dreams was kino

I will always be baffled by the fact that these guys were not added as playable characters in the 3rd game.

would you mind plating it and posting a picture

Same here /trash/ poss, never played it but I remember the commercials, and a small bit of the TV show.

The artwork was beautiful, especially this downright lovecraftian background.

I'll probably play through it in a few days and make a thread.

seconding these, SoD deserves praise

Had it, never got too far into it. Tak, Jak, Sly Cooper, and Whirl Tour were my PS2 starter kit

Playing it right now, I just got the chicken suit.
Game's alright, super easy though. They give you 4 different ways to regenerate health.

Who would win Jak or Tak?

This game had a great sense of humor

The gameplay was just kind of above-average, nothing crazily good but it was decent

Jak, easily

Obscure platformer thread?

OH SHIT I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNEW ABOUT THIS GAME

Fuck yeah, tfw newfag of life playing this, struggling so much

All I remember is some level that was like a tower or a buncha portals or something.
You had to get sheep to a zone to advance and sneak them around creatures or corral them or some shit.
Kid me was completely unable to discern the solution, yet figured out some way to cause them to clip through the world and back to avoid a spot. Everything else is just kinda gone from memory.

Anyone remember this gem?

yeah it was fun

Anyone remember that Egyptian platformer? Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy or something? Seeing Tak brought back memories of it

I have this and the second game. I played both of them for a good bit but I don't think I ever finished them.
Thought they were funny as a kid, though I didn't like the TV show.

>first Jak and Daxter game
>charming, colorful platformer with an interesting world
> Jack II
>JUST EDGE MY SHIT UP

My father got me a Gamecube with Tak and the Great Juju Challenge for my eighth birthday. We played through it together for a few months before we got stuck and couldn't continue. It was really fun, my first 3d gaming experience.
I miss you, dad.

Apparently there are 4.
I didn't know this even existed until this thread made me feel like visiting the TVTropes page.

I'm in the same boat user
It was at least dank af when in was younger

I remember I would sometimes invite my cousin to my party on ps4. It hit me hard those days. Only person I ever really talked to.

Yeah lmao, weird ass game but cool as fuck. Had a cartoon/3d show made of it for whatever reason too.

I remember the sequel.
I never made it farther than like level 3, but I had a blast with it regardless.

Wasn't there a third one that was Japan only?
