Where I'm from we all started with the original Dragon Ball . Man what an amazing childhood .

Hollow Knight but with DB aesthetics. Generic enemies are dinosaurs and various critters, bosses are characters from the show. You run around gaining powers and moves. You're a small guy like in HK. Much more involved story than HK.

Prequel. An adventure game where you play as Bulma and it's about finding those first 2 Dragonballs she already had when she first met Goku.

Quasi-open world. Kami House as a hub that leads out into various continents that become more streamlined but with lots of verticality and puzzles

Why is Super so shit? There's a couple of complaints I have with Super:
-Fighting looking detailed is far gone unless you're a fan of those fast punch and kicks as well as laser shows. Detailed fighting somewhat got hindered in Z but a huge chunk was gone in Super.
-If you aren't a saiyan, you're a jobber even though you have pretty good fighting skills. (Though to be fair, this is evident in the Z series)
-The introduction of Whis, Beerus, and the different universes ruined the world's setting.
-Why in God's green Earth do they have to revive Freeza? Don't get me wrong, he's interesting but for fuck sake, they already have Buu. Are they that lazy to come up with something that can hinder him during the tournament because of how fucking OP he is?

Super actually has a fair amount of the adventure-comedy element to it, at least until the Tournament of Power that stretches on for eternity. That does have comedy though, just not adventure because it's like 40 fucking episodes set during the same battle royale on a single platform.

Actually yeah, each character has different super attacks, passive skills, action abilities (transforming, fusion, summons, etc...), unit skills (team-buffs, team-attacks, enemy ailments, etc...) and other stuff. And in the upcoming World Mission game, you can also create your own cards using all the characters and transformations in the game.

I don't know if you remember Dragonball, but the fighting was mostly shit in that too, it was just slower because they hadn't figured out how to reuse the same animation a million times to fill the otherwise dead-air. Where the fighting in Super excels is that it's works well on a thematic level (even if the themes are usually shonen-crap), like Future Trunks' spirit-bomb-sword, or Hit having to pull punches because his fighting style is geared towards lethality, etc.

C'mon, that's been Z since the Saiyan Saga, some fighters even became irrelevant towards the end of Dragonball. Even the first series suffered from the problem of constant escalation.

How so? The theme of escalation has always driven the series towards larger and larger stages. Originally GT expanded the scope of the story to include many other worlds. Now we have multiple universes, which doesn't really make much difference, except now we can plausibly have characters more in line with Goku's power level to, at least in theory, allow a wider focus.

Something that I think would be especially nice though is that if you search for the Dragonballs in the series order, you'll basically just have a recreation of the anime, but you can get the balls in any order, and depending on what balls you get, certain events can change in others.

Look at pic related. Muscle Tower is the quintessential Dragon Ball arc. It starts with Goku traveling on his own into someplace new to him; almost freezes to death when a little girl finds him, he learns about the situation of Muscle Tower oppressing the town. He promises to go "beat them up", and he has a bunch wacky hijinks (which includes literally The Terminator) and some of these fights he can't win with brute force alone. He eventually defeats the big boss there, saves the town, then he leave to go do more adventuring. It's peak dragonball.

I disagree there, the tonal shit was definitely with King Piccolo. Tao Pai Pai is a serious moment, but he didn't shift the entire theme of the story like King Piccolo Saga did, which set the tone for the rest of Z arguably until Buu Saga, when shit starts getting silly again.

Maybe Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu, only since it's right before the start of the king piccolo saga, but I don't think they're anywhere near as defining as when Goku finds Krillin dead and everything after.

But Dragon ball is superior to Z due not being too reliant on stupid beam struggles, having an actual adventure or three, goku growing by methods you can actually see (except for a certain very heretic water), and most important of all, not being an overly stretched mess from hell with shit like the garlic jr. and fake namek to follow the manga close up autistically.

This. The OG Dragon Ball series was an adventure full of sidequests and mysterious places. It would be an amazing game.

The new Broly movie was overall a pretty good watch, but I must say I'm not a fan of the ending. Broly is already shaping up to be another one of Goku's friends.

The only kid that grew in character was Gohan through the saiyan saga and more each new arc until it was thrown into the garbage because people wanted Goku back. Uub, Pan and Bra there is nothing on them since they appeared in the last episodes and GT did a shitty job like making Pan a mini Chichi.

It sucks she lost that tomboy personality, but at least she seems to allow Pan to be whatever she wants, so it wont happen the same to Gohan and Goten, Pan can be a martial artist like Goku

It's a real game coming out for the Switch and PC/Steam. There's 1160 playable cards on the roster. There's a story mode, an arcade mode, a bunch of online modes (ranked, friendly, event, etc...) and a creation mode where you can create your own cards and missions.All the characters in pic related are playable, and that's not even half of the roster.

Uub is such a boring way to end the series.
Making Vegeta finish his redemption by admiting Goku's the best, having it end on a tournament, having it end with Goku finally becoming master instead of student, having it end with Goku forgiving the strongest bad guy they fought and asking for him to come back so they can fight like he's always tried to do is all so great. Then it all leads to fucking Uub the lamest character ever.
