you can use it as a display if you wanted. obviously you need a display on the other end but my setup permits 4 displays in a sense, or i can mirror one for idiots in the other room.
its tricky because theres an HDCP bug on that fucking thing but in practical senses, yes its technically a display if i want it to be

I bought a 1080 recently and the only hardware demanding game I've played so far is RE2, and I didn't even like it that much. If you don't have demanding games you wanna play it's just a waste of money. I had a R9 380 and it worked fine with most games.

It's a bug with the 1x00 series Ryzen CPUs that outputs its temperature about 15-20c higher than what it actually is, you can even look it up, cause I was confused as fuck when I looked initially.
