I give it a decent shakedown about once a month but I only do a really thorough cleanup about once every two years.

Not very often, but then again I don't eat chips, cut my hair, or trim my fingernails on top of my keyboard like some of you weirdos.

Honest question, how do you clean a laptop keyboard? the number 8 at the top doesnt work well and i had this pc for 3 years

My blue switch keyboard has started to not register certain key presses every time, which is really annoying when typing. Could this be due to dirt? I also have those small rubber rings to make the keyboard slightly less noisy. Could these rings cause keys to not register sometimes?

I think you can remove the keycaps on most laptops, but you have to be careful to not break anything so you can still put the key back. Just google your laptop and see if the keycaps are removable.

If you don't have hair, dead skin, finger nails, and dead cockroach parts under your keyboard then you dont know SHIT about video games.

Complete key removal cleaning? About twice a year. I regularly wipe it and my mouse down with windex sprayed onto a hand towel though. Can't stand grime or oil being on my keys or mouse

I bought my mechanical keyboard almost 10 years ago and I've never so much as removed a keycap. I used to be a gross fat fuck and ate near my pc all the time.

Stupid question. How do you remove the keys, do they just pop of with a screw driver or something? I used to see and use a lot of public keyboards with broken keys so I always had this stigma that I'd permanently break them if I tried it.

Does anyone get like some weird crusty stuff on the keys after awhile? I'm not sure what it is except dried oil and sweat? You can just scrape it off with a fingernail.

Didn't even think to take a picture of the before. But it was largely cracker crumbs and hairs. Only thing I eat at this desk is crackers, since I make it a mission to only eat meals in the kitchen

I did a thorough clean recently. I hate small lapton keyboards, but proper classic ones are hard to find so I thought it was worth it. It was, though at first keys were hard to press for some reason but it went away.

Also give my key caps a wash every month. Never buy Tai Hao caps.
