just finish? probably 3. both of them have pretty awful main quests, but 3's is slightly less bad

Both are my inner k nightmare, but at least 4 have dynamic shadows.

I'm playing through 4 right now with that horizon mod that overhauls everything, its super comfy
sucks about the story and writing though. at least I bought it through a key seller so they didn't get money.

Fallout 4
it's more fun to play and the characters aren't as awful.

Fallout 4 is the best Fallout and the best post-apocalyptic game period.
The vivid world, NPCs, the quests, the constructions (not only the same old disgusting rusted crap from the old Fallout)...
The best DLCS : Nuka World (come on a freaking post-apo theme park yessssssssss) and that other DLC where you get to build factories... The best building system.

Since i'm not fond of either, I chose the one with better gameplay and graphical fidelity. If I'm going to do the chore, might as well not make it a pain in the ass along the way.

New Vegas was better from a story/writing standpoint., the ONLY thing 4 has going for it is combat and graphics
Haven't got to nukaworld yet but its a fucking shame they cut so much raider content. I recall there was supposed to be a race track of some sort where you could actually interact with different raider factions, why couldn't we have that

Trully a hard choice! Fallout 3 and 4 are such... engaging, beautiful worlds presenting their own amazing adventure... what a tough nut to crack! I think I will go with Fallout4, for the sake of rebuilding the Commonwealth with Minutemen and bringing back the core values to post-apocaliptic Boston
