It's literally The World, but only the user is aware of what happened while the stand was activated, that's all, prove me wrong
>prove me wrong
thats how the world works though
No.
Yes
More like let's erease everyone's memory of the past 10 seconds.
What King Crimson does is find the best possible outcome for Diavolo in the next ten seconds and then autocompletes everything instantly.
you just said it's the world but it does what the world does
Why the fuck is Part 5 so fucking boring?
it's premonition+server lag
Explain how he avoided getting fucked up by the projectiles in the Metallica fight.
Yes, it lags for everyone except him, but it also allows him to avoid the fate he sees with Epitaph.
>Oh no, the villain is a bit TOO broken this time, how can he be defeated?
>Oh, I know, let's give the main character a massive super power up that's a instant win!
Araki is a hack, fuck Gold Experience Requiem
because you are a giant homo
>muh quirky joseph joestar
>muh serious sabaku jotaro
get bent cuck
You can kill people while the world is activated, Diavolo can only position himself to kill people
>post your iq
>explain king crimson
111 on mensa.dk/iqtest/
He uses fractals to split up time and remake it like crazy diamond
Epitaph sees the possible future, and King Crimson skips to that future removing human agency. Meaning that if you see with epitaph that you'll kill a guy following a set amount of steps, king crimson can skip to the result.
Skips cause straight to consequence.
No, I just want a coherent fight and actual characters.
The plot is weak but the fights are good.
Why does King Crimson look so fucking angry all the time? Even his little head on his forehead is angry
Yeah, fuck Star Platinum.
Anime-onlys are fucking annoying.
He wasn't really that broken to be honest. Diavolo was already losing before Giorno got the arrow, that's why he was racing for the thing at all costs.
>>post your iq
IQ isn't real
Characters motives arent explained until it they decide to interrupt a fight with a flashback.
Kills the pacing.
because no one understands his powers
131 as appraised by a mental health professional
He does a bunch of stuff that doesn't matter because it's effectively just The World
I'd be stressed too if I was the head of a large mob organization and tried to keep my identity known to only one weirdo.
Yeah fuck the red stone of aja
Motives and backstory aren't characterization. I thought you people had all figured that out after MGS4.
Mangafags with superiority complexes are worse imo familam
I prefer Hamon over stands.
Part 6 is 2nd best part
70
It's basically The World but he gets to see and choose the best possible outcome of any given situation and skip straight to it.
134 as told by a real doc. Basically king crimson skips time but only Diavolo is aware of it. Actions other people did happened but they're not aware that they did, only Diavolo is because of Epitaph.
>Why X character acts the way they do and does the things they do isn't characterization
999 as described by my epitaph
my King Crimson is invincible and its ability will let me stay on the climax forever, you fools will never understand
>senpai
Faggot
Not really
>mangafags read and enjoy the manga, make a few cringe jokes
>animecasuals watch it, flood the whole internet with facebook pics and spam lines from the show thinking they're funny
There's a very noticeable difference
Literally how
>thinking Requiem is when GE was broken
>despite the base form being a Stand that does like half a dozen things that always work exactly the way the plot needs them to, when every other JoJo's Stand does like 1 or 2.
Even Araki realized how bad GE was and never gave a protag a Stand that broken again.
his stand power is cinematography/editing
It only really explains why they're in the mafia, though.
kino?
Part 5 is such crap every other part is waaaay better after
*broken-out-of-the-box
Yes I'm aware that he's said Tusk Act 4 could defeat GER
People still move in the skipped time, but in a predestined manner. With The World, people weren't aware of what DIO was doing in that time until Jotaro came along so that's a similarity, not a difference.
140
It just works because it just doesn't makes any sense, as even Araki coudn't explain it.

It just works

Both wrong.
10 billion gorrilian IQ
I don't care.
If the ability was erasing memory then they would say it's erasing memory. I don't know where people come up with this dumb idea.
Is Giorno actually Dio's son?
I mean I get it was Dio who fucked Giorno's mother, but wouldn't it still be Jonathan's sperm since it's his body?
Wrong.
>Even Araki realized how bad GE was and never gave a protag a Stand that broken again.
One thing Araki manages to do I guess is dial back the previous protag's presence to some degree (Such as not having them train, have them out of commission, or get rocked) so they're not so overwhelming in the future. I could accept Joseph dropping hamon training because that's just his character. Jotaro not stopping time at all between 3 and 4 though was and is still kind of hard for me to accept, especially when he said himself that investigating the arrows was to prevent another stand like The World from being born and not preparing himself for that possibility. Then again Jotaro would probably be too strong and it would be more difficult for Josuke to shine.
With no alternatives presented, your post is worthless and I am forced to assume it is you who is wrong.
It’s a stupid comic we’re ghosts punch each other don’t think so hard about it
First half is total dogshit but it goes kino from Pesci and beyond
Its not /good/ characterization, but its something
Its meant to show why theyre so loyal to bowlcutarati
He sees the future, which without the use of King Crimson is unavoidable, and then once he erases time he's free to avoid that future. He doesn't see multiple outcomes at any point and King Crimson never acts for him during the erased time.
The other way around, it's good until White Album then it goes to shit
Well let's consider how his ability would help him in these situations :
1) Somehow Diavolo gets trapped in a room with a bomb about to go off. He can't bruteforce his way out of the room so what happens?
2) He gets tossed out of an airplane and is in freefall. How does he survive?
3) An ambulance is about to back up into him while he's a bit out of it. What does he do?
From the way KC worked in the manga he'd simply skip ahead in the timeline to the point where he's fine. In 1) he'd simply teleport out of the room since KC ignores how he got out and simply placed him outside. In 2) it's about the same and he just finds himself safely landed on the ground and in 3) he dies.
It's fucking simple, simpletons
"King Crimson's signature ability is to erase a given frame of time lasting up to 10 seconds, starting from the instant the ability is activated.[6][4] "During" this period of time, other people will be unable to experience anything that happened and will retain no memories of it either. After the allotted time frame, they will suddenly find themselves in the situation they were supposed to be afterwards."
That would probably depend on when Giorno was conceived according to how much of Jonathan's body has been taken over by Dio.
Probably though the best explanation is that Giorno has two dads.
He's Jonathan's son by blood, but he takes from DIO anyway.
But how does Giorno get Dio's genes when it's Jonathan's sperm??
>Name abbreviates to GioGio
>Koichi points out that his facial features resemble Jotaro, Josuke, and Joseph.
>The series as a whole focuses on the Joestar bloodline
Do you need it spelled out for you?
Seems like you weren't paying much attention. I mean he still didn't use it enough, but it is explained.
Jotaro literally neglected using his time stop so much that he could only stop time for a half a second during part 4.
Dio in the conceptual sense.
Jonathan in the physical.
Hence why he's a jojo.
That explanation is dumb for even bringing up the lack of memories people have. They don't retain memories because there's no memories to retain to begin with, they never experience what happens in the erased time.
>your IQ
Never got tested
>explain king crimson
Can see a few seconds into the future and can erase any event he didn't like, just like a video editor
What's with all the KC threads lately? did he appear in the anime or something
>We're getting closer and closer to seeing Punished Polnareff getting bodied by Diavolo fully animated
Hold me Yea Forumsros I'm not ready for it...
It's not like the same sperm has been floating around his body for a few hundred years.
Your body absorbs unused sperm all the time. So when Dio got control over more and more of the body, Jonathan's sperm would have reabsorbed and replaced with Dio's vampire nut
Even Araki realized how bad GE was and never gave a protag a Stand that broken again.
You forgot Soft & Wet exists?
What the fuck
He has jojo genes
DIO is only referred to as his father because Johnathan didnt rise from the grave and fuck some random bitch himself.
What is your reaction to how they presented King Crimson for the second time?

Part 5 anime
Yeah, that's what I was meaning to get at, my explanation was probably poor. I don't know why he would neglect his abilities to such an extent if he's concerned about the appearance of another highly dangerous stand user.
>whole deal was however gets the arrow first wins
How can you brainlets still don't understand this?
Then why did his hair turn blond?
Why does he say "muda muda"?
It looks fucking weird without clenched teeth
>did he appear in the anime or something
Yep. He finally appeared in the Part 5 anime
IRON CLAW
But how is that different from time actually passing.
Apart from the disorienting effect of this "memory loss" of those 10 seconds, the way you explain it in those 10 seconds they would still fully act the way they normally do, so how does that help KC.
If he's going to get his ass kicked in those 10 seconds then it doesn't matter if the ability is active or not, he'd still get his ass kicked. The fact that someone loses memory of it afterwards makes no difference.
My memory isn't perfect, but didn't Jotaro lead a normal life for a good while before the events of part 4? So he wouldn't have had a reason to be concerned about the arrows for a while?
Cause its a stand, I aint gotta explain shit.
Coincidental, storywise. Story telling wise, its just an obvious allusion to his connection with Dio.
That time literally does not happen. It doesn't erase memories, it erases time.
He foresees that he's going to get his ass kicked, decides "fuck that" and it doesn't happen.
Simple
I agree - this shit is old news to me, like how PC fags are just now getting Yakuza Kiwami
NEUROSURGEONS SCREAM FOR MORE
But he did appear earlier.
He's part-dio, part-jojo. Fuckkin' simple
So when someone says "erase time", I'm prone to think about something like The Hand but with the flow of time. He truly is erasing time, but time mends itself within four seconds while the stand user runs through the tear in time he just made.
>its an sbr tard who comes out to shit on early parts
>lets give the main character
>lets give
Thats the problem with these brainlets. You act like getting the stand upgrade was some asspull when it was LITERALLY the entire plot of the 3rd act of the series. Get the stand arrow to upgrade your stand and beat Diavolo. And the characters all fight and struggle to get that arrow, and when Giorno does and wins people act like its some big asspull surprise and not the plot of like the last dozen chapters.
Yes, he's a Joestar. He has the star. But he inherited some of his personality from Dio.
The golden hair thing could be influence of Dio's psyche or a coincidence. Some people change hair color after activating stands.
It's all kind of fucked when you consider that Josuke is Jotaro's uncle and Giorno is Joseph's uncle.
He dyed it retard.
it's The World again but other people still move as they would have
>tfw Part 3, 4, 5, 6 all have main antagonists with powers over time
that silhouette does not look like KC
That's Ciocolata
>how does king crimson work?
GREEN DAY FIGHT ANIMATED WHEN
METALLICA FIGHT ANIMATED WHEN
That shadow is not what Diavolo or KC look like.
I thought King Crimson was the user A) knowing what's going to happen with Epitaph followed by B) skipping ahead in time 10 seconds while the events play out but the user is able to move in that time frame while the rest of the world is unaware.
I believe you're right, but I think it mostly goes into that during part 6 if I remember right. Still kinda bugs me that even when he learned about the arrows that he wasn't too concerned with honing time stop, but still I guess Araki needed some way to keep him from becoming too powerful by part 4.
Fuck off, jojobrony.
He did not you fucking mongloid.
It turned blond when his stand activated. Do you people even pay attention?
>His hair was originally black and unkempt, but transformed upon awakening his Stand
It's nothing like The World, you're just dumb.
The world and everything in it keeps moving during skipped time, which makes them very confused when the skip happens. Not only that, since it erases time, it cancels other people activating their Stands. It would literally cancel The World even stopping time.
Also, he can see the future.
It's a lot better.
That silhouette is Cioccolata, you fucking retard.
I don't know how people can act like King Crimson is the most difficult thing to understand in JoJo when Who Shot Johnny Joestar? is way harder to follow than anything to do with KC.
By the way, GioGio is not the only one, you'll see three more at part 6.
There're probably more Joestars out there.
Exactly.
WAS originally black
That literally only happens in the anime. In the manga the backstories were well timed.
Soft & Wet is pretty bad, but at least it's based around doing one somewhat nebulous thing really well.
Gold Experience is...
>My Stand can create fully functional living beings/tissue
>Also those beings are loyal to me, except when the plot decides that they're actually loyal to the person who owned the object
>Also their loyalty extends to several miles beyond where I created them, and they're capable of finding people I've never met and killing them.
>Also it can create beings that are immune to diseases and viruses and give me their blood and make me immune to those things, even if the disease/virus is the effect of a Stand.
>Also if you try to attack these beings all damage is reflected back to you
>Also if I punch you, your mind accelerates into overdrive and your body can't move
>Also I've got the arrow now, so I now have the ability to control fate on top of everything.
It's retardedly OP.
KC isn't hard to understand but then shit like Bruno punches himself happens and nobody knows what the fuck is going on
Its exactly that with the added bit that no one else but the user knows what happened in those 10 seconds.
How many times are you going to make jojo threads, asshat?
Yea Forums exist for a reason, bitch.
You're all a bunch of retards, all of Part 5 is god tier. Every fight is really amazing except two of them: the deflation guy and Baby Face.
>>Also I've got the arrow now, so I now have the ability to control fate on top of everything.
Not really, it's just an everything proof shield that he also somehow uses to throw Diavolo into an infinite death loop.
Yeah, I was never really confused during the series until the final arc of steel ball run.
I honestly don't think I understand D4C yet
honestly king crimson is a pretty dumb stand that's not used very creatively even when you know how it works
>SCR
>amazing
Who Shot Johnny Joestar is needlessly convoluted but makes sense. Its just a really stupid way for Valentine to try to kill someone.
Yea Forums is shit
But it's not simple since the users " find themselves in the situation they were supposed to be afterwards"
That part makes it complicated.
Let's use a chess example.
You're two moves away from a checkmate. King Crimson activates. In the missing 10 seconds you did perform a checkmate.
After KC deactivates you have checkmated someone. So even though the missing 10 seconds were "erased" you still won, even if you weren't the one with the KC ability (the opponent activated it).
keep seeting part 4 cuck, part 5 is the best and most popular part
How are you this retarded? He's not a hack just because you can't follow a story for shit. It's literally the entire premise of the final fight, that whoever gets the arrow WILL instantly win because Requiems are powerful. Therefore, the actual fight is the part of obtaining the arrow, not what happens once Giorno has it.
>Who Shot Johnny Joestar
When was this again
Dude, the characters are boring, and the fights are overly drawn out and incomprehensible. I've honestly considered just dropping Part 5 and watching Boku no Hero Academia instead.
I love SCR. Its the most batshit crazy fight in any JoJo without seeming like a total shitshow like Part 6's later fights.
Man I forgot a whole new generation of retards are being exposed to King Crimson in 2019. I can't do this shit again...I'm not strong enough.
So is Yea Forums but that board was designed for this kind of shit.
I like to think that it renders people unconscious of their actions even though their brain still processes normally.
>people who think part 5 fights are good
I'm glad the anime gave me a great screenshot for this occasion.
The number of my post divide by its last digit.
Crimson King works like this.
Time can be “read like a file”.
Every instance is a “new file” containing every position a person is in, the physics for the next “file”, and the thought process of that person.
King Crimson will instantly look at 10 seconds of those files, lets Diavolo know so he can act in those 10 seconds, and then after 10 seconds passes, he deletes those “files” while Daivolo keeps them.
is Steel Ball Run getting animated?
This. Anyone who calls it an asspull clearly has some reading problems, severe dyslexia or something. Ever since the Metallica fight, the plot for the entire rest of the Part is about getting an arrow so you can upgrade your Stand.
>Requiem is a win button
>but not for polnareff, he drew the short straw
>Also if you try to attack these beings all damage is reflected back to you
when they get to it, relax
Exactly. The final fight isnt Diavolo vs Giorno, its everyone vs silver chariot requiem in an attempt to get the arrow. But some people can't understand a conflict that isnt "MAIN HERO" vs "MAIN BADGUY" in an epic 1v1 duel.
Right before Chocolate Disco, if my memory's right.
I'm nearly the end of Part 4 right now, but I have a question. Does skipping ahead affect Diavolo physically like how time did Jotaro and Dio? For instance would he have to wait a bit before skipping ahead in time again or could he in theory pull it off in succession?
half the jojo final bosses lose to asspulls
eventually. We gotta get through Stone Ocean first. I am excited for that to be animated because there were so many times I could not tell what the fuck was going on because there was too much happening in a panel.
Its my 3rd favorite
I was so disappointed the subtitles in the anime didn't say "my everlasting climax" but something like "my throne".
I think it's likely, but it's going to be a very long time until DP gets there.
Whatever happens to everyone else still happens regardless of KC, it just lets Diavolo avoid his own fate. So if he sees someone else get killed in Epitaph, no matter how they died, they'll still be dead on the other end of the erasure, but if he sees himself die, he can avoid that through the use of King Crimson.
can a mangafag tell me how you think they'll do Disney World in Part 6
How? It is anime onlys that are 99% of the people FLOODING the internet with JoJo memes, spamming that shit everywhere. It is also them making wild head canon about Araki and the series that is known to be false.
They are going to cut the Bohemian Rhapsody arc entirely
>140
You fags need to understand Epitaph first.
Without Epitaph, King Crimson is pointless. Strong but not overpowered.
King Crimson can only erase 10 seconds, and with erase it only means it can erase memory of what happened, except from the user. Results of the events still take place, you just don't remember how it happened.
Epitaph is what makes it truly broken because it can show WHAT will happen in the next 10 seconds.
So if you see something bad happening, you can just erase that shit and adjust yourself in order to prevent it.
Who wanted to kill you is sure he pulled the trigger, but can't remember what happened after that because you erased time.
Actually you saw it happening, so you just KC'd his ass by turning the gun around. After the timeskip, he just shoots himself in the face.
So, king crimson+epitaph is like cutting and editing a 10 seconds timeframe.
Without Epitaph, you can only erase 10 seconds and is not useful since they already happened. Sure, you can confuse people, but if something bad happened to you, the effect will remain since KC does NOT alter the past.
Only Epitaph gives the foreshadowing that makes KC overpowered.
"If there is no Dickey, it isn't Misney!"
So is he literally erasing time and filling it with what he wants or is he pulling better outcomes from the infinite multiverse?
lol
Then why is it the best selling Part of them all
So can any side characters beat King Crimson at all? Could someone like Illusio & Hanged Man hurt him?
"On the other hand, Diavolo remains fully conscious during the erased time and only he can re-adjust his actions.[7] Diavolo sees the erased time as a void filled with juxtapositions of what would have happened during this period in a fashion akin to Nude Descending a Staircase, allowing him to think out the next best action (for instance, when Bruno Bucciarati tried to punch Diavolo during the erased time, Diavolo saw Bucciarati's superimposed positions during his punch).[7]
While Diavolo can interact with himself (demonstrated when he cuts his own wrist during the erased time)[8] and can interact manually with objects not currently or fated to be affected by other phenomena (cleaning up his temporary work station at a motel within the erased time),[9] it is worth noting that King Crimson is never shown to directly interact with people until time returns to normal, as opposed to The World, which is able to interact with the whole physical realm while time is stopped.
Diavolo mainly uses this time erasure to position himself into an advantageous position while his opponent unconsciously "acts" during the erased time and to nullify any attack that may reach him, making King Crimson invincible in any one-on-one fight."
Yes, the checkmate still happens, unless Diavolo decides to fuck with the positions of the pieces on the board.
Metallica nearly killed him so yeah probably.
japs know no taste
One of the heads at David production said he's most looking forward to adapting JoJolion, so they obviously at least intend to do all of them. SBR doesn't seem well suited to an anime if you ask me though, if they pull it off then I'll be glad to see it, but I imagine it being rough. JJL seems well suited to it though so I look forward to that, whenever it happens.
he's just deleting/skipping the part he doesn't like.
Metallica nearly killed Doppio that only used Epitaph
It's not that hard. King Chrimson is 2 powers working together.
POWER 1: Diavolo can see 10 seconds of the future before it comes to pass, and modify his own actions accordingly
So he can know what you're about to do before you do it up to 10 seconds in the future.
POWER 2: Diavolo can choose to erase up to ten seconds' worth of time. Anything that happened in those ten seconds besides changes in position are ignored
So you shoot at him and he erases the part of time where the bullets pierce him. It appears as though the bullets just disappear in front of him and reappear behind.
Combining the two lets Diavolo anticipate and nullify any possible attack while maneuvering himself invisibly for a counterattack.
Thread is going to get nuked like the last one and OP will make another thread.
The horror never ends.
Jojolion is so damn good. It made me feel nearly the same feeling I got reading Part 4 the first time. So comfy.
Jotaro was nerfed to hell and back, otherwise part 4 would have been a joke. Kira couldn't stand a chance against Star Platinum The World.
Not until BITES THE DUST, I mean.
It's almost a certainty. Look forward to it in ten years.
It's been a really long time, but I'm pretty sure Metallica was fighting solely against Epitaph and not King Crimson itself.
That's easy to understand...And monumentally broken as a power.
They don't make as big a point of it as they do with the physical toll of time stop, but Bruno does make a comment about how he should be able to get away after the erasure before it can be done again.
Judging by their current rate, JoJolion is still 6+ years away though
Are you retarded? That is Cioccolatta, the user of Green Day
Doppio didnt have king crimson main ability tho, only epitaph and KC arms
Diavolo would have killed him easily
>mods in charge of enforcing the video game discussion rule
Part 5 is the best part, fuck off faggot
Metallica fight starts 6 weeks from now, since next week is more Bossu vs Bruno, then 2 episodes of Clash & Talking Head, and 2 episodes of Notorious B.I.G. fights.
It's great, I do at times feel like I would enjoy it more if I read it in chunks instead of reading every chapter as it releases, but it's hard to resist and I only really feel that way in the slower chapters like Blue Hawaii. When Vitamin C was going every month felt like it lasted forever because I couldn't stop thinking about the next chapter.
I prefer that to another smashniggers thread
It's an anime imageboard. It's not illegal to talk about anime on Yea Forums.
A nearly dead Jotaro beat the shit out of Kira
For everything except diavolo, yes
Then how did he rip off trish's hand?
hahaha, no.
one of the worst main characters with some of the most inconsistent abilities and an ending that, even though the entirety of the last arc was leading towards it, felt like a massive copout in a series about outmaneuvering and outsmarting your opponents
Mods seem to be a bit tolerant, since JoJo is a core component of this site's culture, and it will naturally ripple through all boards.
>200+ posts in just an hour
>it's not even vidya
what the fuck are the mods doing
Actually it makes no sense, it has one huge plot hole. The witnesses that saw three different people shoot Johnny Joestar, were the two boys, the two girls, and the old man. Each of them saw a different person, even though these three shootings of Johnny happened in 3 alternate dimensions. So why are these witnesses from 3 dimensions all in the main timeline?
The only possible way for that would be that Valentine swapped the witnesses with alternate universe counterparts into the main timeline. Which would make no sense, because Valentine can't have possibly known who all saw what happened.
