desu I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of Steam users have no interest in any of the Epic exclusives

>I don't mind when this DRM client holds my games hostage
>but that OTHER launcher that doesn't include any DRM of its own? now that's evil
Valve is like a cult, I can't think of another company who's so loved despite repeatedly screwing their fanbase over

It’s literally not fair. Apex is highly skill-based and team-focused, Fortnite has zoomer autist dances. Give me one good reason we shouldn’t gas the next generation for bad taste.

>x legends
>y legends

how original

Wrong. Preorders for Exodus jumped as soon as it was announced it was leaving

It used to be worse a couple years ago

Steam drones are such fuckin' hoes (I love it)

Metro exodus is a 7/10
It's OK, but going open world ruined the atmosphere of the previous games

>but going open world ruined the atmosphere of the previous games

Explain STALKER

Metro just sucks ass

I don't understand your logic. Of course people who are interested in Metro will move to the store that offers it. I said that the majority of Steam users aren't interested in those games in the first place. For every user that eats up all the new AAA releases, there are 4-5 that remain interested only in smaller, older, games that have been sitting in their wishlist for years

STALKER had a gloomy and depressing atmosphere (I mean that in a good way) and was planned as an open world game from the start. The mechanics of metro don't work well for an open world and that fucking mad max stage was the most anti metro section in the entire series

That's the case sure, but Yea Forums can be memed into loving pure trash like Darkest Dungeon as well as good indies like Shovel Knight

All you need is one

good riddance

I'll take your word for it. I'm sure Metro open world could have been gloomy too, but obviously a AAA game trying to impress people can't do what STALKER did.

I still don't understand. How does that relate to the whole "Steam is dying" argument? My point is that there is a large subset of players that aren't affected at all by the Epic competition.

Oh right, yes, you're right. Though I think even old dogs need new tricks

But Epic Store is def for the next generation of Fortnite gamers, not salty dogs.

Based

Not gonna lie, this shit is the best part about Yea Forums.

Anyone defending Valve after their attempt at forcing paid mods is fucking mental. Valve is shit, they are as bad as Bethesda, with the exception that Bethesda at least makes games, no matter how shitty they might be.

> with the exception that Bethesda at least makes games,

Games that would make people want to use a piece of shit like Bethesda Launcher for Doom Eternal

Literally me. Fug.

How did you end up like that?
