user-kun, you're supporting the new Front Mission game right?
I better not be catching you buying DMC5 or Sekiro instead!

Is she supposed to be attractive?
left alive more like dead on arrival
I ain't buying shit, I'm a good pirate boy.
>Pretty much no wanzers
>Generic survival TPS
>Not turn based
>No internet sections
>OG donut steel characters with no connection to the actual series
No way fag
you seem like a rich boy, user. Surely spending a bucks on Left Alive won't hurt your wallet.
Look at that shitty crouching animations. This game is bad even if it have shinkawa characters style.
>Pretty much no wanzers
What the fuck
Just give me gunhazard in 3D
but it's gonna have a cool conspiracy story! Just like our beloved MGS!
i want to like this game but even the videos show too many glaring flaws
SE should have bought licensing for the fox engine instead of building some jank shit from scratch. MGSV already perfected 3rd person shooter controls and movement, that way the devs could have focused almost entirely on the combat encounters, mecha gameplay and the storyline
is this a discount metal gear solid?
>Mecha game
>No budget
Every time.
famitsu impressions, the only worthwhile bit of info is that it's 20 hours long. rest is just repeating that it's a stealth game first and foremost
does this game actually feature mechas?
I'm buying DoA, DMC and Sekiro. I'm sorry, but you look pretty bad and I'll check you out later.
Is there even ANYTHING from SE and its subsidiaries since ps2 that hasn't been jank?
I love the art and sound direction of left alive.
Too bad those animations look early PS2 tier
I've never played Front Mission in my life but I've been dying for something at least a little bit Metal Gear-esque. As jank as this looks I think I'd enjoy it still.
How can SE look at those animations and say "Yup, good enough. Let's ship it!"
honestly want to, lot of decent games coming out soon though and i might have to put this one on hold for a bit till the price drops
Because they're the chink equivalent of bioware and bethesda
Tomb raider flopped, Just Cause 4 flopped and now this is gonna flop
like the other user said. SE is the equivalent of Bethesda in the East. they literally make money off casuals. espercially dumb kids and women.
it feels like they're throwing the bare minimum budget and staff onto a bunch of passion projects and seeing where they go, all to fill their roster for the time being, until they can get ff7 remake out since all their competent devs are on that
Gonna buy it, hope it is like MGS V but in not fucked up state like chapter 2/3
>new Front Mission
I wish. It's just a boring 3rd person stealth game, with some Wanzer segments inbetween. Set in the universe. What's the point if I'm not in the Wanzer a majority of the time?
It has that late ps2/early ps3 jank with anime styled western characters. I love them
>What's the point if I'm not in the Wanzer a majority of the time?
they had a game where you could do that, but that didn't pan out very well either, now did it?
looks janky as fuck and stiff, but also has some cool factor
It makes me so happy that Square-Enix is struggling after FFXV.
>western devs
yeah, what a surprise. That the people who ruined silent hill ruined front mission, too
I will! The game looks interesting, will be refunded if not interesting around 2 hours!
>western devs
>games mandated and funded by japanese company owning the ip
>it's western devs fault
The absolute state of weebs
Maybe some other time.
>implying Double Helix makes good games
b-but Killer Instinct!
only if you post your pantyhose clad feet first
>MGS5 stealth, forgotten cover shooter from the 360 era, mech game
I'm interested but not $60 interested, and my toaster PC probably can't run it so no piracy option.
I'll wait until it's $20.
I don't even like Double Helix, or all those western takes on Japanese IPs, but you have to be absolutely deluded to think those western devs were solely to blame. Look at the Japanese last-gen games that were NOT outsourced to western devs, like Final Fantasy XIII and Resident Evil 6. They all suffer from priortizing cinematic spectacle and flashiness over competent game design. If anything, this is more of a Japanese thing than a western thing.
This post reminds me of how the ThinkGeek girl got mad that I bought a Mario hat from Gamestop instead of from there.
Yeah, brought the Mech edition, too.but i can clearly see its a very flawed game.
>new game from mech heavy franchise
>does not involve piloting mechs at all
Why does this keep happening?!
>Mecha game
Is it though? Because I wish it was...
dang i wanted this to turn out good
you get a mech just not all the time, trailer shows the player hijacking one and laying waste to some poor ground guys - does make me wonder what the on foot to mech ratio is though
>mech boosts and collides into another mech with zero impact. they both slide across the ground like ice pucks
looks good
