user, Divinity 2 is a different game than what you posted.
Yeah I couldn't be bothered to type the name correctly
it's a very good game especially when you play with friends and they constantly fuck around and make you reload quicksaves because they hit a npc with a spell by accident because they all have adhd and can't stand still in one place for one milisecond god fucking damn it makes me feel like i'm a downie caretaker
10/10
I enjoyed it, 9/10
Fuck flaming bitch on a stick, fuck item difference in late-game
Best rpg I've played though I haven't played a lot, are there actually better rpgs than this? Seriously asking
Gameplaywise no, storywise a whole bunch.
I stopped about halfway through the second island but I did like it. Just got distracted and never went back to it
So I played it a while ago, but found the difficulty in the starting area too much (on the hardest difficulty). Is it better in the definitive edition?
same
i think it had something to do with the fact that i felt like i had already seen everything there was to see in terms of character building and the only thing that was left was more quests. the game is very fun for the first half the of act 2 but then just kind of peters out. i think they should've spent more time on creating abilities and interesting gear to keep mechanic-focused players like me interested
If I liked Divinity II, would I like the Original Sin games? I realize they're pretty different but given they're all Larian, I figure there's bound to be some overlap.
Good framework, ruined by details.
The game doesn't recognize that you are playing as a group, everyone acts like you are running around alone. (No shared special dialog options and traits).
Combat is terrible, centered around stunning, skipping turns and one shotting.
Bad armor system.
Bad item progression / reward structure.
Magic mirror ruins speccing decisions. It should cost a lot or come a lot later.
Source vampirism should came way earlier. Fucking source puddles? Really?
And just general laziness. Maybe create some basic fucking animations instead of having a narrator talk over idling characters in every single scene.
Easy mode for kids who couldn't get through Divinity Original Sin.
The starting zone in Original Sin is harder than 90% of the content in Divinity 2.
this is true
Great game. Wish I had friend's with long enough attention spans to play it through with though.
>No option for WASD movement
It's shit.
I've played through Fort Joy 7 times because of friends wanting to try new builds. 60 hours playtime and never saw beyond it. It is kinda of fun though.
Its fun but asigning stat points manually to my allies on level up instead of the computer doing it breaks my immersion and is just too much shit to think about.
Also I'm not very good at the game.
>Mfw lonewolf metamorph
what other games have their difficulty spike in the beginning of the game and gradually get easier? It kinda works for a story where you're getting stronger and stronger honestly. I loved absolutely dominating everything at the end.
