What purpose does amiibos have?
What purpose does amiibos have?
Believe it or not but there are actually adult people who like to collect toy figurines.
They're fun to train and it's always nice to see them improve.
but whats the point?
is it to boast about how much money you've spent on plastic? cuz prostitutes also get to say that
Looking nice, occasionally seeing somewhat convenient use ingame. Maybe sometimes it's an item or a new stage, but for the most part the entire point of them is just to be visually pleasing.

Are any amiibos compatible with any amiibo game, or are there some shitty restrictions?
They give you nice little extras in alot of games and they are neat figures to collect, honestly the only amiibo that i would consider unfair is shovel knight he has the multiplayer mode inside him
but you can just buy the bootleg cards that work the same and are way cheaper, you can even make them yourself, i just really like the figures
I mean you’re looking at it. You get figures of characters that never would have gotten one if it weren’t for games like Smash.
Their game uses have become way too far and few between.
how do mii fighter amiibos work?
Usually there's shitty restrictions, but some games do allow all amiibos
>in alot of games
A majority of the amiibos released do not work in a majority of games released across the 3 consoles that support them.
Considering how half-assed so much of the actual "extras" are, it's a joke they don't support nearly the full library of amiibo. I'm not even saying all, but more than the fucking 1-5 most games support.
most new games are trying to include all amiibos like in ultimate the amiibos that aren't fighters will at least give you an spirit for mario maker 2 there will probably be a lot of new costumes, but yeah sometimes only amiibos from the series work with certain games
i don't have them, but i bet you scan it then pick one of your mii from that class and save it in the amiibo, im waiting to see if they will get new amiibo since their looks changed in ultimate, same for zelda link and ganondorf
i have a sonic and cloud amiibo just for the irony
bought marth (before they got retarded expensive), captain falcon, and diddy kong. received pacman as a gift
i use nfc stickers for epona + wolf link + like 3 sets of botw gear and also some splatoon gear
the amiibos are actually pretty fun to train and use and have fight against each other. it's like a childhood dream come true of having my figurines actually fight each other outside of my imagination. outside of that, i like how my collection looks on my shelf. the amiibos and a metroid poster are the only video game shit i have as decoration in my apartment
>amiibo checklist
>188 amiibos
Man I have very few amiibos
They are the last nfc figures alive i hope they survive just enough so i get the characters i want, smash ultimate is helping a lot but i want capcom to make a mega man line so i can have X as an amiibo, im glad im not into monster hunter because those amiibo are japan onry for stupid reasons, at least i already got Ryu and soon ken, that's all the Street fighter amiibo i need
Making Nintendo rich
>it's another "why are you wasting money on upmarket goods" episode
sometimes people like having things
>honestly the only amiibo that i would consider unfair is shovel knight he has the multiplayer mode inside him
need i remind you of when mario party 10 locked the classic mario party format behind amiibo except they completely butchered it
