They just kept adding clones and now we have 3 gokus, 3 vegetas, 3 Gohans, 2 brolys, 2 17s, and 2 zamasus. Not to mention they gave up a character slot for that stupid OC donut steal Android 21. Then they decided to give us blue vegito as a dlc and didn’t bother to give him an alternate hair colour. This was fine at first because they said it would be too difficult to add alternate costumes and hair colours to the game, but then all of a sudden Videl is announced as dlc and she happens to be the first and only character with an alternate costume. What a load of shit. Also it took forever for Jiren to be added to the game, and he’s dlc for some reason.

What about best rosters? I unironically think Smash Ultimate has the best roster in video game history, it needs Tekken, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil and Devil May Cry to be God tier though.

MVC1 had an uneven roster too, but at least it's hard to tell unless you specifically look for it. This game makes it very obvious. Capcom really needs to do an MVC2/Smash Ultimate like-game where everyone is here to win people back.

I think the part that sticks out the most is they rely heavily on echos to pad out the roster.
Almost every character that has the same movement type and weapon type as another character is an echo

Yeah. Even then, the sprites of the Blazblue, Persona and Under Night characters are reused from their source material, where as the rwby characters were made from scratch, which is why there's only the main four. In total, there's 16 Blazblue characters, 10 Persona characters, 10 Under Night characters, and 4 RWBY characters, but they're still adding more characters in the future. No more RWBY characters though.

Yes, you are. You call them "clones" but they all play nothing alike. The only similar thing they have is that some are the same characters but even then, they're from completely different arcs with completely different costumes and moves. It's so obvious you were desperately reaching for examples when you said "2 17s" and "2 zamasus." The 3 Gokus and 3 Vegetas made for a more compelling argument since even I think super saiyan blue Goku/Vegeta could have instead been replaced by someone else like Hercule or Roshi.
If I had to agree with you on somewhere else, I'd say that I wish they added character color alts like SSJ1 Vegito and 21 (Good). Other than that, no one is going to take you seriously if you argue like that.
