It depends on the dungeon, but for leveling purposes, a tank will pretty much always queue instantly, a healer will usually take less than a minute, and DPS could take from 5 minutes for a very popular dungeon to half an hour for a less popular dungeon. Even dead content usually doesn't take too insanely long because of the "roulette" system where people do random dungeons fills them in. Old expansion raids are hellish though.

Now for average pub tanks, about half the time you'll get seasoned vets doing roulette or leveling alts who will play flawlessly and half the time you'll get people smart enough to spam their AoE enmity move so it's fine. However 1/100 times you'll run into an absolute retard who fucks up everything. In that case just suffer through, you can usually win even if your tank is retarded since most content is so easy

Depends really, if you have a lot of idle time but detest actually doing eureka stuff, just afk at the aetherytes and only tab back to participate in NMs. From an xp per time actually spent playing the game it can't be beat, and there are even ACT triggers that can ping you when something spawns. You do need a somewhat active instance that's spawning stuff though.

You have to manage your heat bar by whipping out the revolver that MCH currently use and delivering a bunch of damage-upgraded finisher blows that take away some heat, you have to make sure you stay in the sweet spot where your damage potential is at maximum but not too much so you don't overheat your gun and become poop for a time

MCH's big problem is that it's too simple. Both in play and design. The jobs so fucking simple that all the difficulty is tuned around hitting 100% of your buttons 100% of the time. And despite it being horribly fucked by server lag in reference to it's FT OH and how punishing a fuckup is, it doesn't change that it's the simplest job in the game.
All other problems stem from how unsatisfying it is to play the exact same way in every single fight with no variation and how optimal DPS is quite literally out of your control due to the inevitability of losing a WF in every fight due to circumstances quite literally out of your control unless you play at 0 ping
