If it's anything like Andromeda, they probably intended the game to be done back before Destiny was even a big thing but then squandered chance after chance resulting in years of wasted work and a game that despite having a 6-year development time was mostly cranked out in 18 months.

I never said that the game was the gold standard for the content that you can explore. It was the gold standard on how you can explore. You are in control of where the waypoints are placed for your convenience during lategame/NG+ runs. You're free to explore wherever you want the second you reach the pawn guild (although meeting monsters above your level is another problem on its own but it's the risk you have to take when going into uncharted territories). Strider classes have the benefit of going fast. Jumping around doesn't feel like garbage compared to Nier Automata.

I bought the game to play with a friend and honestly the game itself isn't bad for what it is, it's a basic ass looter shooter, but youre iron Man this time. The issue, and why it deserves it's shit score, is the fuckin bugs.

I mean Jesus Christ, the crashes are random as fuck, and consistent enough that there's no excuse for the game to have been released as it is, my audio just cut out at one point mid mission, I had the game cut me out of a cutscene mid way though and just drop my ass into an infinite fall into an unloaded world. There's some bug that will just make the game crash in the middle of any NPC conversation, I mean it's completely random which ones bug.

This game needed 3-6 more months at LEAST before it could be called a finished product, it's pretty clear that Bioware as a development team is completely incompetent at this point. Dunno what happened but this isn't the same Bioware that used to make games.

Nah, I don't have a right to have buyers remorse, I played the demo, I knew what I was getting when I bought it, I obviously HOPED it would get better before launch, but no game ever has a demo THAT broken like 2 weeks before launch and fixes their shit. I just decided I could live with it, best case scenario it gets better later and I get a destiny I actually enjoy playing, worst case, I move on to another game, or back to the ones I already play.
