Imagine having this shit taste. Sometimes I'll want to replay kh2, then remember the first few hours of it and not want to play it anymore. How do people play these games for the story? Kingdom hearts characters are all abysmal, they're either

I like KH 1, 2, and 3 because they're fun to play, not because they have a good story. That's why none of the other games in the series are worth playing, because they change the gameplay to make it not fun, and the story isn't worthwhile, so there's no redeeming qualities. I originally played kingdom hearts for the disney stuff, and that's still the only reason I bought kh3. If you seriously think kingdom hearts has a good story or interesting, compelling characters in any way whatsoever, you seriously need to get some perspective. Read a book, watch some movies, consume a form of media that tells an even remotely worthwhile story. I seriously can't comprehend how nomura managed to make such an uninteresting story so needlessly complicated.

358/2 is the worst game with the KH brand attached to it, second only to Coded maybe, and that was a fucking mobile game.

I get what you mean. It comes off as a little too obvious that Nomura just said fuck it and gave rapid fire payoff, revived every dead character, but still has plans for sora and kairi.

Seeing the Days Trio embrace in tears was potent though I will admit, but I didn't think Saix was very well written or developed, and I don't really feel anything for ventus or terra (the relationship between those three is the shallowest thing in the entire series).

Hot take: CoM has the best combat.

Days is an excellent game, clearly you haven't watched the numerous hours-long videos talking about how underrated it is, or how the missions allow you to better identify with roxas, as he basically does a real-ass part-time job of menial tasks and develops friendships with his colleagues.

358/2 has the most coherent storytelling and character work, though. Since your attention isn't diverted into multiple disney world and side character plotlines you get a much better story out of it.
