Lets say you swing a punch at me and I use King Crimson while you're winding up the punch.
What would happen is that King Crimson can see your punch ahead of time and can just skip to the end of it, getting rid of the actual swing.

All of the things that were supposed to happen in those 10 seconds (you punching me) were nullified by me erasing them, but you're still (functionally, not actually) teleported to the position you'd end your punch at. The motion is completed, but everything but the start and ending don't exist.

That's what it means by erasing time. Does that help?

It's the two points before and after the erased time converging. While the time is erased, the effect of what would have happened in it remains. Bruno punched behind the pillar, time got erased. If that time hadn't been erased he would have hit nothing, then gone around the pillar to inspect what the fuck was going on, which is why he is where he is at the end point of the converging time.

It would take an insane amount of force to actually punch clean through someone's chest since a fist is such a wide point of impact. Even if you had the strength to do it, you wouldn't be able to accelerate your fist enough with just a punch. You could, however, keep applying pressure afterwards to push your arm through. If anything, it's a much more realistic approach to how that would work.

King Crimson’s future sight shows movement like a bunch of animation cels laid on top of one another, and the boss can also lend his future sight to other people. A common fan theory is that the boss gave Bruno his future sight for a moment to fuck with his judgement.

There's a very simple way to understand it, if you've actually read part 5.

King Crimson = Erases CAUSE but EFFECT is maintained. (can also see like 10 seconds into the future to know what he's erasing as well as dodge incoming bullshit).

GER = Erases EFFECT but CAUSE is maintained. Hence Diavolo being stuck in a endless cycle of being killed but never being able to die, because Giorno removed the effect of dying (as he was fated to in that moment).

Erasing the time isn't what saves him, it's being able to see the future so he can cheat fate that saves him every time.

When you cut 5 seconds from a video file, the video doesn't play 5 seconds of nothing it just skips immediately to the part after the 5 seconds that just played. It doesn't mean that those 5 seconds never happened, they were just skipped over.

It was so the stand would protect his identity since that was really what he needed. If people saw and remembered the explosions happening when anybody got too close to the truth it woudl have been easy to figure out what was happening and get around it somehow.

The arrow gave him the power that he needed most in that situation. Stands have a tendency to reflect the user's desires and strengths, especially in part 4.

Josuke's strength is basically the power of friendship, like Naruto. He has the largest supporting cast. His power primarily revolves around being able to heal and protect those he cares about, because that's core to his personality, but he isn't able to heal himself (because he's selfless). Kira on the other hand is selfish and a complete loner, the polar opposite of Josuke. He's completely selfish and self-centered. He's a loner. His powers exist soley to destroy (the opposite of Josukes) and to protect himself by being able to completely erase evidence so he can go on living his life. He was complete fucked and backed into a corner when he used the arrow again and it gave him the power he needed the most at that time to protect himself.

When King Crimson erases time everybody but the boss becomes a "sleeping slave of fate". Meaning that whatever they were going to do in the erased time happens (but doesn't happen). In that erased time, Bruno was just going to be standing there with Trish waiting for the elevator to reach the top floor. The Boss erased the time. In that erased time he jumped down, chopped her arm and stole her. Bruno could not react to this because he was never fated to, where as the boss is cheating fate by doing it and thus cannot be reacted to within his erased time.

When the erased time is over you have the end result, where the boss has already taken Trish and Bruno has awoken from mindlessly doing what he was fated to do in that erased time.

I can't help but keep thinking this is how non stand users react to DIO's The World when he stops time.

That's the assumption that Dio activates The World at the exact same time as Diavolo activates Epitaph. That, plus Epitaph doesn't give anything away to people to show it's activated. It's just a vision.

But honestly, I think The World and King Crimson would react weirdly together since they both manipulate time. Dio's World takes place outside of time, so I think he'd still be affected by King Crimson. It's just that when he starts time again, when he starts will be projected into the future of where the time is skipped.

It's because he can effect things within erased time. The point of erasing time is to force everybody else within that time to do what they were going to do, where as he has free reign to do what he wants without them being able to react to it.

The way he avoids death is simply because he can see the future. Erasing the time ensures that future comes to pass with the exception of him being able to change what he's doing in it without them being able to react accordingly.

It is complicated, but basically everybody but the Stand User goes in autopilot during the Erased Time. This means he is the only one who is actually free to move in the Erased Time and change his position plus remember what happened, while everybody else can only and absolutely only do what Diavolo saw in the Epitaph but will forget everything after Time is restored.

The people in the Erased Time will only see a "projection" of Diavolo in the Erased Time, but this projection isn't really the real one. The real one is outside of the Erased Time, anything that would be done to him during the Erased Time literally doesn't matter because you're just affecting the projection.

During the Erased Time we have the projection of Diavolo and the people there going in autopilot to fulfill Epitaph's predictions. Meanwhile, the real Diavolo is
repositioning himself and will appear in that new position when the Time Erasure ends.

In short, in order for you to understand: Everybody skips Time due to King Crimson except Diavolo himself. That is the trick of King Crimson and why it is OP as fuck. People can do anything during the erased time, but:
1. they won't remember it after it is over
2. they cannot affect the real Diavolo, only some sort of projection that isn't really there
3. they have no choice but do exactly what Diavolo saw with Epitaph's predictions

Again, King Crimson = OP as fuck. There is a reason only a Requiem Stand could deal with his bullshit hax.

The World is actually weaker for two reasons:
1. It cannot see the future
2. It cannot void any possible harm that might come to the user with its ability

If you're fated to react to him it's still dangerous for him, which is why he usually only uses it stealthily, because if you don't know he's there or what he's capable of you'll never be fated to attack him

Green Day and Oasis are great. Part 5 doesn’t completely shit the bed until Diavolo makes his move in the Colloseum.

KC can do more than just punch holes through people. Virtually every punch it ever throws is a legitimate death blow. It almost chops people in half, it donuts people etc... It's never really shown hitting anyone with a barrage of punches, which the user survives like other punch ghosts such as SP, CD and The World.

That's not to say it's any stronger. It's just what leads people to believe that it's physically more powerful than other stands.

You forgot one little thing: his Stand is strong as fuck and most strong stands can handle protection from normal bullets just fine.

Diavolo would defeat DIO, because King Crimson would mess with DIO's ability to properly affect things in stopped time.

Let's look at a timeline of 20 seconds. DIO stops time at 5 seconds, but King Crimson erases from 2 seconds to 12 seconds, causing the rest of time to collapse together like space does when The Hand erases it. DIO is no longer able to start time back at 5 seconds because it doesn't exist anymore, and instead has to start time back uo ten seconds in the future from where he stopped it, at 15 seconds. Things he attacked are no longer where he attacked anymore and would have no effect. His ability would be messed with and he'd be just as confused as anybody else.

The World is superior to KC and Epitaph. Both in speed and power. Dio's superhuman abilities also give perks to his Time Stop ability. Epitaph and KC may have unique and extremely strong abilities that work well together, but they would be useless against Time Stop

He reached down with KC through the hole in the roof, chopped the arm, pulled her up, climbed down the side. Like how Giorno was able to reach through Polpo's cell to his food or how bruno was able to hold onto the train with Sticky Fingers.

Literally the whole point of KC is that it allows Diavolo to escape fate while everyone else is a slave to it. Explaining it in terms of what he was "fated" to do makes no fucking sense.

So if you imagine a train track going around earth, with a train on it (obviously why the fuck wouldn't a track have a train?) this particular train however on this particular track have a bunch of passengers on board with a one way ticket to the future..
So, the train goes faster and faster and faster approaching the speed of light, now this train is so fast that it circles the earth 7 times a second now.. Just imagine how fast this is, you could look at the train and it would pass you over and over before you can even blink.. But no matter how much the the train driver pushes the speed lever he simply cannot pass the speed limit. Instead, the train is going just shy of the speed of light.

Now on board this train there's a bored kid, so the kid leaves the seat and runs inside the train. But user? Didn't this kid actually go faster than the train and thus accidentally pass the speed of light?
The answer is no. Because in order to protect the speed limit, almost as if it was programmed like a computer program, time slows down and make the kid move with the train. So for the passengers inside the train a week have now passed, and the train comes to a stop and they depart the train.. Only its a rather different world than the one they left. But how much can change in a week you ask? A lot. Because a 100 years passed on earth while the future train's passengers only experienced one week. This train literally traveled into the future.
This is of course quite impossible to build, but time dilation is a real thing and what would happen had this impossible train been built and done what I described. So if you OP want a game where you can manipulate time, well just book a ticket in the game of real life for the future train.

Americans only like Funny Valentine because he's a fat, ugly loser who does nothing the entire part, and then comes out of the shadows and is a cool, muscular guy and says he loves America. He did nothing until the final fight, has no connection to Johnny and no reason to fight him outside of "GIVE ME THE CORPSE REEEEE", and has no back story until the final fight, either. He is easily the worst villain in the entire series.

I liked Part 6 almost as much as I liked Part 7.
I thought it was a good change of pace for the series and it had some really creative stand fights.

Funny Valentine could probably be a more traditional BR experience (since you don't have to explore for weapons or anything) for those who want it, Kira could set traps, stuff like that. Hell, thinking about it you could have a trio of -insert stand user who can close gaps super fast here-, Kira, and Josuke. Kira turns Person 1 into a bomb and they suicide dive into a group letting Kira detonate it. Josuke could, with tight timing (and probably a long cooldown on his heal regardless), fix his teammate back up, and clean shop.

That is incorrect. In order for it to effect them they either have to look at it or allow him to write in them. He can make himself and his allies infinitely powerful. Other people don't have to look at a page in order for the effects written into other people to have an effect. You don't need to be a good artist to write any of that shit into yourself or your friends and render yourselves basically indestructible. They are different people because they died during the timeskip, which is why Emporio starts crying. Even if this is the case, it is only people who died during the timeskip that truly died. The other outcome, which also can work in tandem with the first theory, is that Pucci being killed simply reset the universe to one where Pucci simply never existed and thus part 6 never took place and the curse of Dio is finally no longer looming over the Joestar bloodline.

I think it's supposed to be the moment timeskips happens so quickly that Bruno catches a glimpse of his previous position.

Wrong. The entire point of part 6 is that there are two halves that comprise a person, their soul and their memories. Jotaro lost his both soul(stand) disc and his memory disc, so he became an empty husk except for "lol don't take off my hat" instinct I guess. Jolyne and the crew died during the reset, so Irene and the others in the new universe share the same souls but not the memories and experiences. Thus, they're different people entirely. That's the tragedy of only Emporio surviving, his friends are complete strangers to him now and he's entirely alone in the world.
