Having a solid 60fps with 4k is great and all, but aren't graphics already super fucking good? Never in my lifetime would I have imagined I would see a video game look like what we have today. But that's just it- graphics are just eye candy. The PS2 had games like devil may cry and resident evil 4 which were absolutely the first games of its kind. Can you name ONE game made in the Xbox One/PS4 era that have revolutionized certain genres? What's the use of having powerful machines and amazing graphics when all we have to show for it is Bloodborne? (which is still technically a sequel)
Hardware isn't what we need to upgrade. It's creativity. Every other game coming out right now is a "cinematic experience", a shooter with microtransactions, or both. No one wants to create anything new anymore. We have way too many huge franchises that refuse to die because they rake in cash, and we have way too many aspiring game developers wanting to follow that same model to reap the same rewards. Here's to hoping that the next Gen actually has something unique to look forward to instead of just sequels.

16gb isnt enough to record/stream 4k 60fps gameplay, I theorize they will go higher than 16gb just because the xb1x already has 12gb, it just isnt that much of a leap, maybe its 24gb, or less than that, 16 would be too low. Also the nvme storage is a pipe dream, it would be awesome, but nvme 1tb is 99usd part, no way they would put it in as it would add too much for the cost, although the xb1x does support nvme apparently, it isnt too far off, maybe a lower capacity with the option upgrade.
Also, Microsoft will not launch 2 models concurrently, but they have been retarded in the past, it just seems like too much of a burden to communicate to the public as to that one is weaker than the other, I dont see it being likely

1. Consoles aren’t profitable on their own. Just because you have 16m or 41m or 90m consoles sold doesn’t mean you are profitable. They require good attach rates.
2. Offering games on other markets is a net increase of profits. It costs nothing to warehouse digital games, so offering otherwise exclusive games to different markets will generate more revenue through new users over attempting to sell a console and game together.
3. Microsoft bringing Xbox games to PC is like Sony bringing Vita games to PS4. You already own the platform you are bringing the game to, so you won’t lose money, but instead bring games to a wider audience making higher profits and generating business for other divisions of your own company.
4. Microsoft wouldn’t leave the console market in favor of games as a service only. Microsoft is a Windows company primarily, and the Xbox serves to highlight the features of the Windows architecture, and the new consoles will run on Polaris (Windows 11). Google wouldn’t stop making phones and tablets if they got into the games subscription service. Nor will Amazon.

360/PS3 were your first consoles, weren't they? Prior to them, most generations lasted 5 years tops. 360/PS3 had amazingly long lifespans for the weak hardware they were built on.
