If I play anything other than Bloodhound my survival rates seem to be much lower.

With bloodhound you never have to worry about accidentally walking into enemies. And if someone is shooting at you from somewhere you you press Z and you can instantly spot everyone with ease.

I feel if I pick Bangalore I'm more useful to the team. But bloodhound keeps me alive, which is better.

tl;dr The "netcode" is still great. Even with the low rate of server updates per second, their clientside interpolation and lag compensation is excellent.

Unlike other games where any cases of high ping and long registration delays result in shit going wrong, Apex is on point regardless of latency differences; the only negative for Apex is that you receive the damage indicator a noticeable fraction of a second later.
"But I already got behind cover" doesn't change that everyone can shoot at what they see reliably, you're just getting the memo late that you were shot before you made it to that cover.

It's about how well you aim, squad tactics, movement, and looting. Abilities have only a small effect compared to those.

Hitboxes are not the issue.

The game has a deteriorating server rate. Sometimes it even starts off weak. The ping sometimes hits near 1 second with all parties accounted for. By end of match there is a few hundred ms of delay per packet stack.

You know a big part of what makes the meta characters meta is their hit boxes and speed right, it's not just "hurr durr aim good" when you're an objectively easier target to hit than the enemy

My damage and killcount multiplied by 3-4x when I switched from path to wraith. It's actually insane how much of an advantage she has.

Bloodhound with a re45 is op, a least for me. Ive seen lifeline players with 300 kills.

Finally played it. All in all, definitely the best BR by a country mile. Could be 1 of the best shooters of this past decade up there with Titanfall 2 if they release a solo mode. Maybe 10 matches and I was already sick of having 2 other people to look out for. Some were smart. Some were fucking tards. Either way, I don't wanna have to continuously babysit or worry about some other player when I'm just trying to learn the game and git gud.

Start out at the end of the map and work your way in, while youre first learning the mechanics of the game. When you come across a random that points items and enemies out, add them.

Use Lifeline for care packages, quick heals, and her medic drone.

You arent going to get any better by avoiding confrontation user, just like real life. and take a shower weeb
