Really? Does is still use the same old WoW clone mechanics in the background, though? The old third person shooter mode certainly did. It was a joke, you couldn't even fire unless you had a valid target selected, and then it seemed to autoaim because in reality it was just using your standard cooldown hotbar attack in the background. Is this still the case, or can you actually drain your phaser shooting at a wall now, like an actual FPS?

There were some broadcast versions with one scene that was slightly longer where the Cardie moved and there was actually a fifth light behind him. It was unintentional though- it was supposed to be hidden, didn't match the other lights, and was only used as a flood light to help create the rimlighting effect on his head and shoulders. Later rereleases like the Netflix version cut it short because it's an obvious fuckup, like how they digitally edited out the occasional boom-mic-in-reflection shot.
