I miss classic Teemo. Teemo basically forced top lane to be a 1v1 because Teemo's mushrooms would last TEN MINUTES (compared to five minutes today) and they would hit twice as hard as they do today. Teemo would plant these mushrooms all over top lane making it basically suicide for the enemy mid/jungle to attempt ganking top.
Because the mushroom duration and mushroom damage were neutered and because true vision is a lot easier to get now with a free trinket instead of paying 100g for vision wards or 500g for an oracle's elixir, Teemo can't "control" top the way he used to. All Teemo is nowadays is a 1v1 dueling champion who doesn't really have a niche.

At least it's a sensible rework. I absolutely abhor the way Riot reworks heroes, which is to say delete the old one and create a new one with the same name and general theme.
A rework that changes around a few skills to balance the character all while keeping the same general functionality and playstyle is better than the shit they did to Yorick for instance.
