The good one

why doesnt the kid age

Good games. There are no good vr games

its still not cheap. What HTC wants for a Vive Pro plus the wireless addon is a fucking insult

Attached: 1515517004038.png (1024x768, 1.27M)

Already in but I'm looking forward for proper finger and face/eye tracking.

>wireless vr
are batteries good enough to support this for any real capacity?

I'm not buying VR until they can simulate textures and feelings

There is literally no point until they do

>the most overpriced set is not cheap!
here u go senpai
samsung.com/us/computing/hmd/windows-mixed-reality/hmd-odyssey-windows-mixed-reality-headset-xe800zba-hc1us/

I don't get it, is the joke that we will all be dead before VR reaches a point where it is finally fun?

>Which VR generation are you waiting for?
VRN
VIRTUAL REALITY NEVER!

good games

>Which VR generation are you waiting for?
I'm waiting for a job. And I probably want a sex doll first.

can you use both the steam stuff and occulus? What about room scale?

I have a friend who paid like $2,000 for his VR system, hyped it up a lot and would always talk about VR games.
Then suddenly one day, he put it away and just stopped talking about it. He gets upset when we bring it up nowadays

Why is the other guy not aging as well?

what is the point of this comic. the technology would have advanced at the same rate even if he'd bought every single one of them

yes

>He wants the premiums but he also wants it cheap
I didnt know you were virginia colony era England

Why would I buy an NES? Sure its cool but the next gen consoles will be so much better.

The one that lets me leave my body to live in cyberspace forever

It's compatible with SteamVR, the Oculus stuff is apparently iffy though since it needs an unofficial compatibility layer, it's fine for room scale.

The O+ is premium, the screen is far better than the rest.

VR hardware is probably the best it can be right now but it needs to be more widely accessible in terms of price and there needs to be AAA/AA dev teams making games for it otherwise all that's gonna be left for VR to play are tech demo indieshit and VR social spaces

Attached: 1550732452942.jpg (1024x1004, 136K)

You can get a Lenovo Explorer for like $99.

*good hardware

And I have one. But I'm talking in terms of the good VR headsets like Vive being a bit too expensive still
WMR headsets are the ideal cheap VR option, yes, but it's an ordeal where you have to actually search around for it to know these cheap HMD's because they aren't advertised at all

which is the cheapest one to watch porn on?

Oculus Go (or GearVR if you have a Samsung phone)

This is what you get to look forward to when you buy a vr headset.
>nearly every AAA vr port gets turned into a teleport simulator
>400lb weebs role-playing as lolis in vr chat
>streamer bait like rick and morty vr and job simulator
>shovelware like surgeon simulator VR(the goofy youtuber bait one) will be recommended to you unironically because that's the bulk of games available for VR
>screen door effect
>a sweaty face and a stinky headset
>need to have a high-end pc to be able to play VR games at an acceptable res and framerate
>the "budget" vr options are all fuckng garbage and are equivalent to strapping a phone with a gyroscope to your head

Attached: 1eb48bf2ce98242705a6c8f39cfe5202a2271edc_hq.jpg (467x451, 32K)

Just get a piss cheap vr headset for phones if porn is the only thing you're interested in

When VR will exist instead of a phone screen strapped to your head.

Go is marketed as a glorified video watcher but it only has 3DOF and Oculus has the faceberg DRM bullshit.

>make solid arguments
>stop at second gen because no straw man anymore

>teleport simulator
Already stopped reading there to realize you don't know what you're talking about, the vast majority of games have normal sliding movement and the teleporting shit was just a short lived meme by devs who didn't realize some people felt sick because they are americans that would feel sick moving around even without a headset on.

>>need to have a high-end pc to be able to play VR games at an acceptable res and framerate
It's always the sore grapes consolefag spreading misinfo and being gay.

Right now both Vive and Oculus suffer from their entry pricing and only manage to have success inside places where you can pay a few dollars to play VR for an hour
Sony on the other hand has been able to smartly balancing a quality headset with cheap tracking, allowing for an effective, but not amazing, cheap solution for console VR
If Sony does upgrade tracking for PS5, then PSVR will be the dominant VR headset

Attached: 420.jpg (590x391, 23K)

WMRs are already superior to all three of those in all fields (except Vive's tracking)

>VR hardware is probably the best it can be right now
What is it with you people, either you're full dive retards or you say dumb shit like this. No we're just getting started.

Attached: 1269491506460.jpg (722x676, 146K)

VR hardware can't improve right now without the price being jacked up an extra $200

Should I get a vive or vive pro and why

Vive pro because "pro" means it's better

If you have the money, the pro is probably the best headset available right now.

The Vive however is honestly the worst. Aside from the build quality there is nothing it does that an Oculus or WMR doesn't do better

he's having fun while the other guy is stressed out and bitter, so he ages faster

VEE
ARR
JAY
AY
VEE

I'm telling you bros. VR JAV has reached an artform and some of the best actresses can actually make you feel like she actually loves you

It's still not perfect but the current iteration is getting there, I'd say the O+ is the most solid all-rounder with no huge design flaws.
I predict the market will stay at the HMD+2 motion controllers standard for a good while, it's good to have some stability and polish.

Post your specs

Attached: this isn't speccy retards.jpg (654x797, 191K)

Jap porn is the most soulless and awkward shit in existence.

Should I get the Rift or WMR? the latter is cheaper and with better resolution however rift has the games I want to play plus built in headphones. Odyssey is difficult to come by here.

>touching Oculus anything
Faceberg cancelled Rift 2 to focus on mobileshit sets

I'd say WMR but if you are hard set on the Oculus exclusives you might as well go in that direction.

does this board still use excuses from 2015 or did they update their shitposting?

Attached: 147286359389.jpg (514x796, 158K)

I want the most bang for my buck. I got a PSVR during a sale which is a good middle ground and gets some love from sony in terms of getting some games. Cant say the same for HTC/Valve

VR in 2019 looks like THAT??

Attached: 7423.jpg (2448x3264, 566K)

Who would put the headsets being wireless ahead of getting games?

I'm waiting for the pimax 8kx. Its 5k+ counterpart is said to have the best fov right now.

ADD WOJACKS TO THIS I CAN'T READ IT OTHERWISE

>vr apologists

Attached: one_pull_nigga.gif (360x238, 1.43M)

The twist is that the waiting guy is a VR character, note how they're in a VR dome in the last panel.

what do you think

Who hyped here?

Attached: maxresdefault (6).jpg (1280x720, 132K)

>giving a heck about HTC now that the actually decent gadget companies are in

Yeah this. Way better VR sets out there for a fraction of the vive price

It needs to look as good as your average monitor.

Fuck even phones look better than that blurry mess.

It's holodeck or nothing. Not just for me but for general audiences as well.

Game devs will only embrace the eye tracking when the Oculus also has it. Just like with the motion controllers.

Can you play oculos exclusives with WMR? Also fuck exclusives

It seems to be hit and miss and breaks with the occasional Revive updates, but it's possible.

vr anti aging programm

Now, it must be said that JAV VR tends to have a better idea about types of content that fit the VR medium than most Western studios do. Ie. producing "experiences" over straight hardcore pornography (but shot with all the limitations of POV, which they don't even try to overcome), with proper intros, cuddling, attempts to capture some intimacy, that sort of thing. You know, trying to get you immersed to the whole thing. A preference to East-Asian girls doesn't hurt either.

Too bad having the right idea isn't enough when execution is horrible. It's gotten better lately but (based on sample of content that finds its way to private trackers, which presumably is biased towards higher quality content if anything) even now they still can't get interpupillary distance of their cameras right, the whole "being there" thing is ruined by not-POV POVs like cameras at your navel or floating in air, and along with all other issues there's censorship and inferior video quality to contend with (which on their own wouldn't be dealbreakers but they certainly don't help).

I probably have downloaded a terabyte of JAV VR by now but I've properly watched only a couple of films because almost all of it is just shit I just can't be bothered with anymore. I guess it wouldn't be all that much different if I downloaded Western VR porn randomly because most of it is shit as well, but in this case I can identify studios (namely, Wankz/MilfVR and CzechVR) that also tend to have the right idea while also having solid production, technical competency and consistency to back it up.

What is the best cheap headset?

> I probably have downloaded a terabyte of JAV VR
where? teach me senpai

Lenovo Explorer

Primarily from Pornbay. JAV VR tends to be freeleech.

Whenever it becomes inconvenient to play most or all games without using a VR headset. Or when I can use VR to go live inside a fantasy MMO world and it feels convincingly real. Whichever one comes first

It needs to have a full range of movement and touch simulation before I consider buying it.
