These have way too large sampling range. The best AO is one you don't notice, it's supposed to look just... normal.

im unironically triggered every time a game doesnt have HBAO

so all the time? It's a pretty rare tech, most games settle for SSAO if they give the option at all.

so you dont have any nvidia card? majority of games support HBAO+ to this day

You can force it in most games on driver level.

Looking up flags and that shit? Is that still viable for recent games? I just use reshade mxao, allows me to control the look.
