37 here my biggest enemy is working full time and being in constant pain from the physical labor each day so most of my time at home is spent resting and trying to recover so when I do play games it's usually in shorter bursts because I can't concentrate or my hands hurt etc. It's fun when I can tolerate doing it physically but otherwise it's not a big focus of my life anymore which I do hate but can't do much about.

I used to work at a Kmart, and the general rule was you weren't allowed to stop shoplifters, but there were a few instances where management and I confronted people who were trying to steal a whole bunch of shit and kicked them out of the store. He said he had trouble with it as well, his reaction time wasn't good and he had the shakes in his hands due to some medical condition. But he persisted every day and tried that challenge for 20 minutes. Eventually he beat the challenge. This inspired me. I never did end up beating that challenge but it was heartwarming knowing that some boomer had faith in me, because if he could do it then anyone could. I hope he is still gaming today.
