What if this is what people meant when they said Scalebound was revived by Nintendo? It could be getting funded by both companies as a dual release on Game Pass for both Xbox One and Switch.

On Xbox idk because you can dl the sw but you might need a handshake over the net to validate ownership. On the switch yes it will likely require constant access to stream the content.

Currently on the xbox it's basically digital game rental. You can download and play any game pass game as long as you have the subscription. To work on switch though I'd imagine it's streaming content. I doubt the switch could handle some of the bigger beefier games on its hardware.

Pretty good service for the price I'd say. A lot of classics on there and all new MS first party games are on there day one.

inb4 M$ ditches physical consoles and move to a game streaming service where you don't need powerful specs to render high end graphics but just a powerful enough internet connection to sustain a low latency remote gaming replacing old weak consoles with powerful datacenters singlehandedly moving killing dedicated console gaming moving forever to pc gaming

I'd be perfectly fine if they decided to just share their titles and let the xbox focus on being a home console while nintendo focuses on being portable.

As long as there's crossplay (which there obviously would be) then what's the problem?

microsoft probably acknowledges they're losing their foothold in the video game market, and nintendos the lesser of 2 evils, you could say.

Really need to just port the fucking games. Ori and Cuphead use Unity which has Switch support. If I'm home, in just gonna play it on PC anyway, the Switch would be for playing them portable, where internet is iffy and streaming shitty.
