I can't say for experience with EA, but I can say working for nexon america for a brief period as a member of the lawbreakers and then hyper universe promotional team most sponsorships laid out by the company to offer to streamers/content creators involved no such lying, we simply asked to see a copy, and pointed out things we'd prefer they didn't say. If they put the video up, we'd pull future funding under breach of contract for any number of violations because they usually fuck up and tell someone anyway which is how like 99% of leaks happen.

apex legends, for example. Happened from a game changer on EA's payroll who played mostly titanfall 2 leaking it because he was pissed. It goes all the way back to last year on Yea Forums. Look it up in the archives.

So they took the video down and now everybody loses. It brought more attention to the Game Changers program and the view itself, and it made it clear that Gggmanlives was--in some measure--obliged by his participation in the program to be more positive.
