you should be able to learn a solid midscreen and corner FF confirm in like ten minutes, think bigger

oh i know, i've just been really lazy about my combos lately. And i've noticed myself fucking up on raw FF hits because i hadn't specifically practiced anything off of that.
Phonon's combos are really easy to do, I just haven't looked into doing any optomization of my routes in a long time.

also, i don't really have any ideas for a bigger goal. I just want to learn new tools and then make sure i can use them in an actual match.

You guys can make another lobby right? I think I just wanna pass out. Been out for nearly the entire day, and I need to be awake in like 5 hours.

that's fair, I've kinda just been working on my grd awareness, finding reset opportunities, and smacking a cpu around trying block strings and setups. I really like how depending on spacing you can whiff 5b mid string and 5b>b will connect and leaving a gap and letting you continue. Oddly enough my FF confirms are simple as fuck and I'm missing a lot of damage.

5bb was something else i was thinking i seriously underuse that i could work on too. I pretty much never touch the button and i know i should.

I try to minimize my usage of it in netplay now. I did it that time because I saw a bunch of shields

Yeah i can tell you're avoiding using it since i'm constantly watching for it.

I'm avoiding netplay 6B in general to try to get better habits and improve my pressure fundamentals. It's too easy to rely on it as a crutch, but overheads are much less effective offline.

i see what you mean, i feel like these j.A combos feel like cheating in online play.

I mean j.A combos that require CS aren't super bad because vorpal should alert people to the possibility in any case, but the problem with Orie 6B is that I don't know how much of it would've worked offline, so I don't want to rely on it too much

You know i get how hilda can do it, because she has enough power to float if she wants, but i'm genuinely amazed that Phonon can fight in the heels she wears. I mean considering what kind of character she is i doubt she's actually used to wearing heels, let alone fighting in them.
