Little Big Planet

Anybody remember these games? Any memories you wanna share with me?

This was my favorite game when I was younger

>playing those hide and seek levels online in LBP2

pure kino

I got it when PSN went down and shit.
I remember thinking I would enjoy it more if I had friends to play with.

Also fuck that wheel thing on the ladt level.

1 and 2 were my favorite games on the PS3

god like

2 > 1 > Vita > PSP > literal shit > 3 > Karting

>Auto
this shit is nostalgia

just got a lbp3 itch last week.
after hours and hours of making shit i impacted against bugs and gave up.
i managed to build a working level though, but it wasn't what i was planning.
lbp3 is a fine example of how to drive a good serie into the ground

actually 2 = 1

Man they really did fuck up the foundation they had set up with both 3 and Karting.

I always forget those two games were ever released.

oh yeah i also played some CWC levels for make a painting to stick to the wall of my house but i find out that they removed the ability to steal stickers from levels in lbp3.
that sucks, there is a good photo of chris giving the thumb up

They had such good charm but I HATED a 2D platformer with multiple planes where you'd jump into the background by accident. That was annoying. Also the creative aspect was implemented so horribly that no kid would ever be able to create anything.

3 wasn't made by media molecule right?

I played LBP1 till I got the platinum for it. Looking back though, the actual platforming was pretty wonky sometimes with the plane jumping. I remember quite a few unfair deaths to shit like that.
Also shark survival levels. As far as the eye can see.

they "assisted" in development, in what capacity who fucking knows, but sumo digital was the team at the helm

shark and bomb survivals were the shit

yeah, i think they were already working on dreams

I only played it at friend's ps3, then played the psp one and was dissapointed as it doesn't have creative mode and then got the vita one for free, it really looks good and you can play piano on the backgrounds, it's amazing, plus it has creative mode. But honestly, i didn't care for it that much, despite liking level makers in games.
>karting
Are you fucking kidding me? Karting?

come on the vita version is on par with 2

Until that was the entirety of the featured levels you'd see first

My favourite were the ones where bombs would be falling and you had to survive in some giant structure

Yeah, that existed.
It was a poorly optimized mess with a super unintuitive editor. What's more bizarre is that United Front made it, who also made Modnation Racers, which was essentially the same game.

I agree, played well and had a bunch of tools. multiplayer kinda sucked though

>You now realize the same development team that made LittleBigPlanet 3 was the primary developer for Crackdown 3.

LBP3 was done by Sumo Digital, who recently did the single player for Crackdown 3...

>essentially the same game
not at all, modnation racers was a good game

I used to play that lbp2 whale survival level all the time with my friend

christ i thought you were kidding
thirds don't seem to be sumo's strong suit

Modnation is alright, should have just remained being that.
I dislike shovelware karting games since release of crash nitro kart and diddy kong racing, i mean, nice characters, guys.

ffmn yhjcdrtf mnjfcd

geee weez i wonder how team sonic racing will turn out

LBP 2 is unironically is one of my top 5 fav games of all time
i played the shhit out of these when they came out
oh man the memories

Right, ModNation was actually pretty decent, probably should've mentioned.
I just find it baffling that the devs of that game would even make something as redundant as LBP Karting.

i actually bought karting lole

The first two Sonic & Sega racing were legit fun, too...

>you will never go back
Nostalgia and nausea go hand in hand for me. Almost ruins old songs.

At least thats a series Sumo historically knows how to make good. Theres at least some hope there

my favourite levels were the street fighter one and bomb survivals

One of the best games to play with a significant other

>these threads always make me sad and nostalgic
>open one whenever I see one
It still hurts.
We should try to come together for one last round, all throw in on a community level. Maybe a big maze where we each design a room.

god i miss my LBP gf

Never had one, what was it like?

i would if i could but i don't even own a ps3 anymore and i'm sure as hell not gonna get lbp3 on my ps4

Little sis and I used to do random maps online in LBP2 and troll whoever was there however we could.
Dragging other players into holes in platforming stages, scaling up objects and attaching them to our characters, spawning things out of sight of other players to lag/crash the game, etc.
Good times.

ok i'm up to it

Hello does anyone like the game ssf2?
