it uses its own scripting language which will run even the most shitty unoptimized code you can throw at it. Don't need to define variables before you use them or set ranges for arrays or anything syntax related in general. The cost of this is its slow as shit if you wanna do something complex that needs to run a lot of code per frame like 3d in which case you might as well move to something like godot, unity or unreal instead. Hotline miami and undertale were made in gamemaker iirc so it at least 'works'.

depends on what you had in mind. If you want your first solo game project to be some kind of gigantic epic then give up while you're ahead. Do something simple and managable and with enough clear, bite sized goals that you can actually finish it.

Your principal place of business is different from your registered agent's location. Typically people who work from home that I know use the address of a virtual office that either forwards the mail via post, or email.
