Cities Skylines is a nice game, but I think I still prefer SimCity 4. I can give up curvy roads for the sake of all the other controls that SC4 gives me. Somehow SC4 seems more free like a simulator instead of demanding like a game.

Agreed, I just had to play it after the beta ended, can't wait for this shit to come out and I get the game basically screaming at me to get out of the computer for being playing it non-stop for 8 hours
