If a hunter actually does this, the guild will hunt them down. "Poaching" is forbidden and punished with death, the guild even has hunters trained to hunt and kill poachers.

Now i think about it, the whole main plot of stories would have been solved if edgy boy went to the guild instead of becoming edgy. Sadly, until MC set off, the riders lived in total seclusion from the rest of the world.
