I feel like Annette was white washed to fuck in this remake. I remember her being just chaotic evil in the original. Then again, my memory is shit.

She was going to leave her daughter to die in a sewer.

She was psychotically obsessed with protecting William and his research to the point where she couldn't recognize G4 jumping down from the ceiling in front of her as a threat in the original.

Surely they had a great time in that furnace she had access to in that gross sewer she can conveniently navigate without problems.
