He's going to have a praetor suit alt, there's no way he doesn't get one. Simon hasn't been in a game for a long time, so he has no modern design, unlike doomguy.

The Doom IP now belongs to Bethesda. They gain nothing from using the old design as his base skin, so his Doom 94 look would be an alt skin at best. The new design IS recognisable despite whatever you tell yourself, how you make up these imaginary stories that Doom 2016 wasn't a massive success that brought back people's interest in singleplayer shooters based around simple mechanics.

its version of hell didn't have the texture variety like episode 3 inferno had, which means both a less interesting vision of hell and low potential of level creation
