The only campers I have a hard time dealing with are Greninja and Inkling, any other time its pretty much free wins since I play fat fucks who's weakness is the inability to deal with shield pressure

I suck but still having fun, played like +25 rounds vs Incineroar in quickplay and he kicked my ass, i did beat him like 4 times but lost every other time. I would keep playing but have other things to do now, also i wish i could change characters while being matched with somebody since i was playing a character that i usually dont play.

I'm a Wii Fit main and I rarely ever find another Wii Fit online. It happened yesterday though and we spent the first few seconds of the match rubbing our asses against each other. Gotta say was pretty fun.

Ike, Wolf, Roy, and (for some reason) Dedede are the characters I see most often in quickplay. Chrom used to be super popular until the patch. I still have yet to anyone pick Kirby, Mega Man, Ken, Ryu, Pit/Dark Pit, or Sheik online except when someone in a lobby decides to pick random.

Wolf, Inkling & Cloud are the most common on my end. Haven't played a Ken, Rosalina, Pac-Man, other Docs, Wii Fit, Olimar, Duck Hunt.

In my experience I haven't had lag as bad as 4 outside of FFA matches. The input buffer, however, makes me rage to no end. Almost every time I get a shieldgrab on someone I get a roll input after throwing them, and have lost matches from getting extra inputs. Making the buffer register held inputs as new inputs is one of the worst things they did in this game.

They removed much of the landing lag on his aerials, so he can kind of throw shit out for free if the opponent can't parry or otherwise punish him. Why they buffed his nair and uair on top of that is beyond me though.

They was no justification to buff nair's range, it was already one of his best moves in 4. It having less landing lag should have been enough. Also his old uair was pretty unique, but now it's a generic swipe that has stupid good range. It's strange how they balance characters sometimes, sometimes it's just overkill. I don't use Wolf but it's weird how bad his recovery is. It's like they made his up B have no range with the intention of using it with side B, but they also made his side B put him in freefall.

Hard to choose, K. Rool has a lot of satisfying moves. Knocking someone into a Kannon-Ball I already re-fired for the KO, catching someone trying to cross me up by aiming the refire upwards, any of his meteors, dair into usmash, etc, etc.

I would love to play in arena but 90% of the time a match is going and I have no clue how long it will take. Guess that's why quick play exists.

Just make your own arenas instead, never wait in anyone elses as it going to get shut down or have the host kick/rage quit before you even play

Rool's Gut Check is unique in that the Counter/Reflect activate simultaneously at point blank. Which basically means, that Lucas is probably orbitting the planet right now in a chunk of ice.

Nothing wrong with practicing your short hops and quick falls. I tend to mess up the latter a lot despite me flicking the stick down like crazy.

If it helps you understand, think of PKFire like the Metroid Assist Trophy, or the Extra Spicy Curry item: They enable some characters to repeatedly use certain moves, have it be cancelled by them being constantly hit, and repeat the process over & over.

Run over to right side of the stage and wait for them to respawn. If the game is laggy, I do frame perfect dash dances. If the death was notable in any way, I just flat out crouch, no tbagging.

Sweetspotting with up-air is without a doubt the most satisfying move to kill with in the game. It is like busting a nut x20 every single damn time.

Why do you have a bad connection? Smash doesn't really require a ton of speed, you just need a consistent connection. Get a wired adapter and you should be pretty okay.

Skewer on Ridley. I really thought it was some cheap gimmick move but the more I tried to work it in, the more I saw the invisible pressure it had.

Game and Watch's down smash is super satisfying since it can ground leading to a normal free KO or it can get a crazy death angle which puts people at the bottom corner of the screen. Even if they have insane recovery, you can throw a bomb in their face for a loony tunes finale.

Sounds about right. I'll try this out when I use Doc again.

Incineroar is pretty nice to play and can really body annoying characters like swordies and psi kids that flood online though he has two pretty dumb matchups. Fighting against Ivysaur razor leaf spam is stupid because Inci is too slow to get over them and land a hit without being punished plus Ivy's aerials completely beat out all of fire tigers air moves. If Ivy can completely stall out the match if he wanted to. Ganondorf is just annoying because of avoiding wizard foot and flame choke with the online lag with Incineroar's slowness

I normally don't quickplay until recently, I wanted to see if I could reach 1 GSP with the characters I like, turns out it's way harder than I thought because if you even just want to play the game, there's a high likelihood within the 5 digits and below that your opponent will kill themselves if you start dominating them too hard. I had this happening to me several times in a row with Olimar, who I don't main, but thought when this happened " Hey, might as well check how hard Elite Smash is to reach, if vee is making a fuss about it, it might be a fun challenge ", and I just went & did it kind of easily by spamming upsmashes the whole way through.

I also don't see a lot of other people do it oddly, but I love sending a Power Missile and the immediately sending a fully charged neutral special. The Power Missile will either burn enough of the shield for the Charge Shot to land even if they're blocking, or both will burn shield and they'll have very little if any left.

This works even better for Mii Gunner since people don't know her properties as well. I get shield breaks with Mii Gunner once every three or four games, shit's insane. Once shield broke the same guy twice.

I like making my Mii as an amalgamation of all the characters that retards wanted, like Geno with the Ashley wig and Isaac costume.

I try so hard with Ridley but it feels like I'm either retarded or fundamentally am doing something wrong. The only useless moves Kirby has is his side-b, everything else has utility. At this point the only thing he needs his speed or a safer approach option, because his moves have plenty of power and combo potential.

Stone is honestly underrated. Yeah, if you play like the typical newbie player who just floats up and tries to fall on you then you're going to get fucked, but it has value as a surprise option for someone over-extending a combo, or trying to chase you for an up-air, which I've found works even in elite. The emphasis is on surprise though because if they expect it it obviously won't work.
It's also good for offstage punishes and I find it more reliable than down air, since you can be hit out of that and the hitbox has been made a lot thinner than it was in smash 4. The fact that stone has super armour makes it great to contest recoveries that would otherwise hurt you.
Also you can sometimes play mind games by cancelling it, and use it to quickly drop and recover low instead of high.

I've always told people not to sleep on Captain Falcon but I'm Ultimate he's kinda underwhelming. That being said he's incredibly fun and because hardly anyone plays him you might end up wrecking some shitter who doesn't know how fast you are. Dont take him to tournaments though.

I main Lucina and really enjoy having 1v1 duels against other sword characters. No zoning to navigate or weird gimmicks to watch out for; just proper spacing and punishing. Plus you get to observe other tactics from similar characters and possibly improve your game. I would still play even if the entire roster were slightly different sword characters.

60% of my matches are against Wolf. I usually win against them (idk how honestly) but god those are stressful matches. I feel like he's the most difficult character to punish, his neutral game is absurd and his aerials lead in to so much shit even on block and if the follow up is blocked he can roll away instantly. Rinse repeat.

The next 20% are Lucas/Ness. Ness is typical Sm4sh For Glory shit, while Lucas spams PK Freeze.

The final 20% are sword fags and honestly they're more fun to fight than Lucas/Ness and Wolf. I got absolutely demolished by a Cloud the other day to the point that I was considering quitting the game.

Only have like 5 characters in Elite. I've had fun so far but it's also the most rage inducing smash to date for me and I don't know why.

I almost never use blaster except for continuing pressure after I knock an opponent too far away or to trap them when they're knocked down from a failed tech. The gun isn't THAT insane, it loses a lot of effectiveness against good players if you start using it too predictably

Avoiding getting too far away, doing so gives her zoning superiority and forces you into predictable entries. Try and stay middle range, this stops her from relying too heavily on the punishable phantom, which significantly hurts her options and will cause more openings for you.

When you get into a mirror match, do you just mess around with your opponent instead of fighting? I only play Kirby and Mr Game and Watch, and I have never had a mirror that didn't turn into fun and games. With Kirby we jump under the stage and come up on the other side of the stage, and jump on each other's heads, and charge our hammers in front of each other then turn around and swing them. I usually instigate the games but they usually come naturally to everyone. With Mr Game and Watch, we normally take turns hitting each other with judge until someone's won. And I mean respectfully taking turns, with order.

The wolf might've been me, I just bought another switch and I was a day 0 wolf main, not that the meta has progressed I'm having trouble adjusting.

I've done this to Villagers and other projectile-heavy characters. It goads them into dropping their guard and then they eat a smash attack.

I got into a jab combo with another Dark Samus once. The jab is so disjointed that the other one's first hit would come out before the first dark samus's second. P1 Jab -> P2 Jab -> P1 Jab -> P2 Jab, etc.continued until both of us were around 120%.

The last time I played, which I think was earlier this week, my GSP was at something like 3.98 million. I have no clue what the max is and there's no fucking chance in hell I'm the best Mac because Sol and J.A.P.A.N. exist. I want that title though.
