Haven't really played sims since the sims 1. But I know someone that has used like $600-700 on sims 4 alone. She even said that this strangerville was a sims 2 thing or something.

I've never played TS3 or TS4, only played TS2 as a kid so playing it now would be pretty fresh for me.
Currently playing The Sims 1 and Bustin' Out for nostalgia, but slowly working my way from least complex Sims to most complex. Feels comfy.

You know, without the prissy aesethetic or sissy looking faces. Take a look at WWE games or Soul Calibur, the fact that both of those games have vastly superior custom character creators is disgraceful for a game about creating characters.

Nah, is more like Saints Row 2. It's basically a body swap, you can change voices, how sims uses toilet and all the body atributes.

Just finishing up with TS2 now, since I only played the base game and Pets growing up it's been a fucking trip playing with all the expansions. There's obviously some things 3 did better but it holds up remarkably well and has lots of SOUL, highly reccomend it. Also tried out the porn mods, they're hilariously terrible with the worst animations you can imagine.

I don't get the hatred Sims 4 gets.

Sure it has a lot of expansion packs but they simply added to the game. I dislike that they basically hold features back to re-sell them later thats about it though (I Just wait for a sale ot buy them)

One thing though is that every patch always seems to add new furniture or features. Last patch added a new career and the ability to make your own career. Hell my sim is a stay at home slut.

The best thing about the sims 4 was the controversy about toddlers. The entire thing was apparently finished and ready, but some cunt did not like toddlers at all and once she was fired from EA they immediately put toddlers in as a free update.

The only people that buy sims these days are rich white girls or popular streamers that make a living from this, I have otherwise never seen anybody doing this. I used to own sims 1-2 back in the day but I wouldnt pay for +500 dlc now. With that said im happy with any DLC for sims 4 because new content is always welcomed and makes the game more playable so who knows, maybe in a few years once they release another +50 dlc the game will be great.

This bugs me because it isn't true. I mean like. For example I can't go running to someone's house but if there is an area on the block I load. I can run around an entire neighborhood and do things. (playground, hunting for bugs, etc) or I can kick over a neighbor's trash can.

It's really weird that there isn't an open world of sorts because if you look through certain sim's houses with the camera. You'll see that EVERYTHING is loaded expect for the sims.

This is what ruined for so many people. The first thing you see after you make your sims is a shitty map with "neightborhoods" to choose and some five or four houses to choose from the whole city.

There is no city anymore, just a shallow neightborhood, it's like living a condominium. In the sims 3 NPCs actually transverse the landscape, have routines and you could even follow one and see what he did every day, the sims 3 felt real, a real simulation.

I'll give you that. The simulation felt real but once you started interacting and doing things it kind of fell apart.

I think it was the emphasis on the emotion thing which is what ruined the sims because its honestly one of the worst things about the game IMO.

Nah, the idea is alright but bad executed. You can exploid the system by just buying "good mood" shit and your sim would be forever happy. And the emotions itself do not change the game much, sims still are all clones with different skins no personalities just some quirks.

That fucking orgy Rug is such a broken mess, I got it to work right a couple times but in most cases you'd wind up with one Sim going through this robotic animation on their own while the other, that's been invited to join, just stands there naked looking confused. Basically a Louis CK simulator.

It's a edging simulator, the porn is great but you need to edge with playing the real game.

You can make sims 3 run in a decent and stable rate, but the game is still shitting itself if there are more than 6 sims on the screen, worst lag is when you are in the park or something. Biggest lag I noticed is around winter. Overall if you want to play sims 3 be sure to install only the stuff you really want and not all DLC, also turn off zombies and other shit and you should be fine, with the occasional screen freezing and such
