All the replayability comes from the gameplay itself and you getting better at it. Costumes barely add anything to the replayability of DMC compared to the actual gameplay, and if you use that argument you just out yourself as a casualshitter

While it's a bummer and one of the real drawbacks with this photogrammetry stuff, it's not even close to be anything of a deal breaker. Dante and Nero's designs are on point anyway.

I could take the ''replayability'' argument a bit more seriously if it wasn't because I don't see how an alt costume could possibly dictate my replayability of a DMC title given the history of the alt costumes we've gotten before.
I'd be mad if this was OG GoW or something like the new Spiderman game in which the costumes actually affect gameplay. Meanwhile in DMC the only costumes that affected gameplay was the Sparda Costume in DMC1 that gave you DT gauge right at NG mission 1 and the Infinite DT costume that absolutely obliterated your score at the end of the mission

Probably not anymore. Those props are tossed within a couple years of their use. Capcom in particular has a history of putting old costumes in warehouses then forgetting they exist. Pic related hasn't been seen for 20 years and Capcom has no idea where they left the suit.

DMC games traditionally have alt costumes, this is a pretty letdown from a game which entitled as the "comeback" of the series.

It gave you armor too. Less damage taken and harder to flinch but slower. New moveset.
