I know that the tournaments get views, but the full-time streamers? Not so much.
I am sad about the direction the game took after the Roadhog nerf, which is when it was clear Blizzard had no idea how to balance Overwatch.
They had no vision for the game and its lore after launch, merely spoonfeeding the fans new uninspired heroes every 8 months. The "lore" was supposed to keep fans interested in between releases, but in reality, they just dropped one or two comics with "sensational" new information about the characters, so gaming journalists would lap it up and market the game for them.

90% of goats is mastering the amount of damage denial they have in the game. With Rein shield, Zarya bubbles and Dva defense matrix cycled at a professional level almost no damage can get through.

Overwatch feels like a strange game to me because the esports league are shoved right into your face and just treats everything as a function, and Blizzard themselves can't immerse players well into their weekly lootbox gacha simulator with boring characters and a half-assed world. Also what says.
